Jeff's family-friendly bike tour exceeded our expectations!! - Cycling with Jeff through DC was amazing! A 10 out of 10!! The tour exceeded our expectations, as all three kids (17, 14, 12) announced that this bike tour was the best part of our trip. Jeff has a wealth of knowledge about DC, and was certain to share stories you don't typically hear about in history books. Jeff was a great guide (we stopped at all the big destination spots, and he took us to some of the lesser known spots as well), photographer (he graciously took photos of our family in front of all of the stops), and host (he brought us all personal water bottles, snacks, and extra clothing to adapt to the weather). The trip was a fun way to see the city, while also sneaking in a little exercise. We highly recommend Jeff's bike tour and this experience!

Perfect way to see DC with kids! - This tour was one of the highlights of my family's trip to DC and it was the absolute perfect way to do DC with kids. Jeff was fantastic - he engaged my kids through the whole day, made the history and context come alive. He was super flexible, handling a 6, 8 and 10 year old's questions (and need for extra breaks) like the pro he clearly is. We ended up extending our tour by almost two hours we were having such a great time. Thank you Jeff!

Best way to see DC - I booked Jeff's tour after experiencing his DC biking series on iFIT at home. We had a family of five that included children in the preteen to teenager range. Jeff met us at our place of lodging with the comfortable bikes, water bottles, and snacks. He led us to a variety of sites during the Monuments and Mall tour with accompanying historical facts and fun stories. Jeff customed the tour and asked several times for customer input as the ride was unfolding. Our family would have never covered as much ground or learned as much interesting information about Washington DC without Jeff. He went above and beyond with the extensiveness of our experience. One of my children listed this tour as the highlight of his entire DC trip. I definitely recommend Jeff as your DC Cycling Concierge!

CYCLING D.C. AT ANY AGE - Jeff had all our bikes ready to ride when he arrived at our hotel. There were six persons in our group, ranging in ages from 15 to 78. The ride -- about 11 miles -- was a perfect length for our group and included the Washington Monument (where Jeff took an iconic picture of us), Jefferson Memorial, Lincoln Memorial, WWII Memorial, Vietnam Veterans Memorial, along the Potomac to Georgetown, and Arlington National Cemetery. It was more than just sightseeing -- Jeff provided a most informative historical and cultural narrative -- interspersed with a sense of humor and infectious laugh -- as we cycled along. Whether as an introductory ride of D.C. or as a more in-depth view of the City by those who are already acquainted with it, I highly recommend Jeff Miller at DC Cycling Concierge as your guide.

Superb historical and local knowledge- fun tour. - Ella took us all around the DC mall monuments. She and Jeff were ready for us outside our hotel before 8am and we had a lovely morning beating the heat. Ella's historical knowledge and fun facts were great. Truly appreciate the local knowledge. She showed us where we would meet our next tour (behind the capital) and we thankfully followed her suggestion to end our tour at "We the Pizza" for lunch between our tours. We did this tour as a family of 4 with a 13 and 15 year old.

The BEST way to see DC! - Jeff was a pro. A bike tour is the best way to see this fantastic city. We took our two kids, 11 years old and 13 years old, all around the city. Jeff gave a lot of interesting, historical, and insider details during our stops. We highly recommend touring Washington DC with Jeff. We all felt completely safe the entire time! He also took incredible photos of us at every stop. Thanks for your thoughtfulness, snacks, and a great kickoff for our first family trip to DC, Jeff!

The Only Way to Tour Washington, D.C.! - Once you experience a bespoke bike tour of D.C. with DC Cycling Concierge, you'll realize you've been doing it wrong until now! A tour with Jeff is a one-of-a-kind, second-to-none experience, and the only way to see the sights in Washington, D.C.
Especially with children.
We are a family of four with two boys, ages 6 and 2. Jeff met us at our hotel with three bikes: two for the adults, and his rig, a "bicycle built for three" (or four), which included an attached "bike" for our six year old and a bucket with safety harness for the two year old (see pics, you could hear people say "check out that cool bike!"). We also received appropriately sized helmets, filled water bottles, some snacks along the way, and lunch! And if that weren't enough, Jeff takes professional-quality pictures the entire time, including individual and group shots, candids, and special pictures for the kids. No need to ask strangers "can you take our picture, please?" Jeff will Airdrop and email the photos to you after the tour.
After overcoming some initial jitters by our two year old, we were off for an enjoyable and leisurely bike ride touring monuments and other locations of interest in D.C. It was an absolute blast. We went at our own pace, but managed to see a ton in the four and a half hours we were together: lots of cherry blossoms, the White House, National Mall, Vietnam Memorial, Lincoln Monument, Korean War Memorial, MLK Memorial, Tidal Basin & Jefferson Memorial, Smithsonian, Washington Monument, and more. There was even time for a relaxing lunch on the Waterfront. Walking the same destinations while trying to corral the kids and carry all our stuff would have taken twice as long, been utterly exhausting, and we wouldn't have made it to half the stops. Instead, a relatively flat bike ride was energizing throughout, but by the end of the day, wore the kids out (always the goal, right?).
Jeff is lovely: knowledgeable and passionate about Washington, D.C., he has plenty of history and trivia for the adults, and items of interest for the kids. As a father himself, Jeff is great with kids and holds their interest from beginning to end.
You won't just "see" the sights, you'll leave the tour having learned a lot about our nation's history, its capital, as well as the Presidents and other notable inhabitants of this marvelous city.
We've already told Jeff he'll be our first call the next time we're in town. We want to take our next tour at night! Can't recommend highly enough.

The best way to visit Washington DC with family! - Both our boys and ourselves had an amazing time with Jeff!
He is very knowledgeable, has a great personality, a good sense of humor and is a great story teller.
He planned an awesome tour that encompassed the most relevant areas of Washington DC, and mentioned important places we couldn't visit in cool stories.
Very worth it!
