Spooky Doo's - I booked before xmas last for myself and my cousin to go on the Walking Tour in Shaftesbury. Having lived their a long time I thought it would be fun to see if they knew anything fun about the place or heard stories I hadn't. We were taken with a lovely Lady called Fiona, she handed out devices and dowsing rods, which I took and you could certainly feel them being pulled round. My cousin tried the headphones and she did hear voices and was having a fun chat with whoever was on the other end, not sure who but the names of Ann and Di came through. I think we were able to clue the lady in on a few things as we've seen many changes. She said there was going to be another one in the summer, when we hope we can get to an old churchyard and down Pine Walk, which is where I've heard for years the ghost of a Monk should be seen/felt. We will book again and look forward to it. Highly recommended. Spoken to cousin and she enjoyed it too.

Exciting - The tour guide was great to interact with and his narration filled me with awe. I had to leave early due to a work commitment. But I would have loved to see it through.

Fun and interesting experience! - Our tour guide, Ingeborg, seemed very knowlegeable and was a great storyteller. We enjoyed seeing and learning the history of Georgetown. There were a few times I wish I could have gotten better pictures but I wasn't prepared and the group was moving on very quickly. It was cold, so that might be why it was moving so fast. But I would just warn people who want pics to be prepared and get them quickly or you'll get left behind. Also, people should be aware that it's a fairly vigorous walk, some going uphill, so you need to make sure you are physically able to do it.

Great experience - Ingeborg was a wonderful guide. She was knowledgeable and made the tour fun and interesting. She had personal experiences to add to the historical facts too. I recommend this tour! It’s a little bit of hilly walking but not bad. It’s stop and go so you have time to catch your breath if you need to or have some mobility limitations.

Nothing wrong with the... - Nothing wrong with the tour guide but the material she had to work with was pretty weak. We bowed out with 39 minutes left in the tour. It was too cold outside to enjoy mediocre “ghost” stories.
