Highlights
  • White House - Welcome to the White House, the iconic residence of the U.S. President. Established in 1800, this emblem of the American presidency is not just a home but a center of history and decision-making that has shaped the nation for centuries.
  • United States Department of the Treasury - From your tour bus, your storyteller guide will discuss the building.
  • FBI Headquarters - FBI headquarters building.
  • U.S. Capitol - The U.S. Capitol is the meeting place of the United States Congress, the legislative branch of the U.S. federal government. As we approach, you’ll notice its massive dome, an architectural marvel representing American democracy in action.
  • National World War II Memorial - This striking memorial honors the 16 million Americans who served during World War II. The 56 pillars and two triumphal arches symbolize unity and victory, while the serene fountain serves as a place of reflection and remembrance.
  • Tidal Basin - Beautiful cherry trees and we will share the history and traditions of the Cherry Blossom Festival.
  • Jefferson Memorial - Dedicated to Thomas Jefferson, the author of the Declaration of Independence, this neoclassical monument reflects his love for architecture, philosophy, and democracy. As you stand under the dome, take a moment to read some of Jefferson’s most famous quotes inscribed around you.
  • Martin Luther King, Jr. Memorial - Here, Dr. King’s powerful presence is immortalized in stone. This memorial celebrates his fight for equality, justice, and civil rights, with the ‘Stone of Hope’ standing as a testament to his enduring legacy.
  • Lincoln Memorial - The towering figure of President Abraham Lincoln watches over the National Mall from his grand seat. The memorial is not only a tribute to Lincoln’s leadership during the Civil War but also the backdrop for pivotal moments in the Civil Rights Movement, such as Martin Luther King Jr.’s ‘I Have a Dream’ speech.
  • Korean War Veterans Memorial - You can coordinate with your guide to visit the memorial instead of spending more time at the Lincoln Memorial.
  • Vietnam Veterans Memorial - Follow your storyteller. We will take you to the Vietnam Veterans Memorial on the National Mall, which pays tribute to the brave members of the U.S. Armed Forces who fought in the Vietnam War.
  • U.S. Marine Corps War Memorial - Also known as the Marine Corps War Memorial, this statue is a tribute to all U.S. Marines who have fought and died in defense of the country. The sculpture, based on the iconic photograph of soldiers raising the flag at Iwo Jima during World War II, captures a moment of triumph and bravery.

Want to see it all in UNDER 4 hours? These guys can do it! - Visiting this many places under 4 hours would VERY challenging to do on your own and for this price. You're paying for someone else to do the thinking for you and provide a bit of context of what you are looking at. If you are a hard core history buff you may want something with in depth details but for my family (with a teen & tween), this was perfect. The host shared facts (some you know, some you have forgotten), and went above and beyond to take pics or answer questions at each stop. As far as walking & resting combination: Almost any tour will require some walking because you cannot simply pull right up to a US Monument. This tour gets you close and if the monument feels too far, or you are not interested, you could wait in the bus with the AC. The guides were great and I love that they provided a little snack & drink. The glow bracelet was very useful as it got dark. I only wish we hadn't saved this tour to our last day because they provided great tips I would have used earlier in the week.

Night tour of DC monuments - Great photos and our tour guide was so personable! It rained during our tour but that didn’t stop us. The water bottles and snacks were very much appreciated.

Best way to experience the DC “must see” faves - Such a great introduction to DC! Our guide was knowledgeable and fun…. sharing little known facts we never would have known walking around aimlessly on our own. The weather at night in August was indeed hot, but bearable….MUCH better than battling the daytime sun, humidity and disrespectful DC mosquitoes! This tour provides water, snacks, glow bracelets and earpieces that allow you to hear everything even if the group travels at a slightly slower or faster pace than you. We had teens sprinting and another participant in a chair ….and this tour made the experience accessible to everyone. The bus a/c worked great and our driver was fantastic too. Highly recommend!

Summer DC night tour - We had a great time on the tour. We are locals and we still learned some new things about DC history. And seeing all the monuments at night was especially beautiful. John and Dwight did a fantastic job. There was some intermittent issues with wireless audio but it was a small problem as we sat up front and stayed close to the guide. Plenty of water, which was VERY good on a hot summer night.

Great Tour - Great tour! John and Dwight were incredible. The light-up bands were very helpful, and the audio guides really let me explore the monuments on my own while still being able to hear the guide. Getting water and snacks was a treat. Thanks for the tour!

Perfect night tour - would give it 6 stars if I could - The perfect tour! John was such a knowledgeable guide and our family of five just loved it. A/C, cold water, light snacks, and an ear piece to ensure we didn’t miss a thing. We saw all the key spots - it was a true 10/10. Thanks also to Dwight for the smooth ride.

Great Night Tour - Dwight and John were wonderful! John was very knowledgeable about the history of the sites we visited. Dwight made sure we were driven safely and in style. The bus was always cool and comfortable. The lighted bracelets made it easy to keep up with our groups, and the ear piece was great to hear the history. I highly recommend.

Better technology needed - He was a wonderful guide but company needs to invest in better technology. The three of us were not able to hear him for the first half of the trip.

Should have taken a different tour that might have started on time. - Bus driver couldn't have been nicer. Tour guide could have said less and been that much more tolerable... he was pretty stuck on himself. WE WAITED OVER 35 MINUTES FOR LATE GUESTS, WHEN TIME AND DIRECTIONS WERE CRYSTAL CLEAR. No apology, just poor company policy not to adhere to guidelines and procedures. A few minutes is one thing but 30 or 40 people were waiting on 3. Unacceptable.

Not worth it - Dwight and John were very kind people. However, the headsets did not work. We were not able to hear the historical facts or information that was being shared. Other than the transportation, I would have opted to doing this on our own and looking up things on my phone.
