Best way to see Washington D.C. with your own private tour guide - This was an amazing experience - we got to see the monuments and memorials, and get bit-sized and interesting history lessons from Barry on this private bike tour. Barry was prompt in picking us up from the hotel and it was great to have a place to store our water bottles and bags when we wanted to come down and spend more time at a particular monument or memorial. Barry was also happy to take our photos whenever we wanted. It was a bit cold and rainy back in October 2022 when we visited D.C., so Barry had a rain cover that he put across when it started to rain more. The best part of taking this tour with Barry was that he had access to the top of a building near the White House and we were able to go onto the rooftop and get an amazing view. My father and son said this was the highlight of the trip and this was the only way to see Washington D.C. Absolutely worth the money.

Everyone will be jealous that you have a ride. - Amazing tour on a beautiful day with all the cherry blossoms fully blooming! We felt so lucky and our tour guide was amazing! We lucked out with an American history teacher! We literally had time to see every monument and grab a quick bite to eat for lunch. What a beautiful day and a terrific education for my teenager.

The best DC tour we have ever taken! - My husband and I both love Washington DC and have travelled there many times. Over the years we have experienced many different tours and tourist options. For our recent visit we had a free day and were looking for something fun and different. Adventure DC Tricycle Tours looked interesting. It was more than that! Our guide Barry was terrific. His tour was knowledgable and comprehensive with great stories and a natural dialogue. We know a lot, but he kept our interest the entire time and shared a number of great "unknown gems" We loved all of it and cannot recommend highly enough.

BEST DC TOUR EVER! - This was the best day of our Washington DC trip because of this amazing tour -- and we all got to ride around Washington DC on a tricycle! The tour guide entertained the family with engrossing stories and facts. I really can't say enough about this experience. A couple of things you should be aware of, in case you're thinking about booking with them (which you should!). At the time of this posting, Adventure DC Tricycle Tours: 1. Allows for Easy postponement 2. Charges no cancellation fee For those worried about rain (or other bad weather), the weather was not on our side either. But they suggested changing our tour date allowing for warm sunny skies instead of cold rain. And they had complete covering that could be added to the cab if the weather got cold. We had so much fun being shown around DC learning about the memorials and getting fascinating insights. Our fantastic guide narrated the whole tour and customized the route based on our interests. We saw a LOT in a short period of time. To answer a couple of question: * Is it Kid-friendly? YES! And our kids loved it. * Does it get too hot with the sun beating down outside? No. Everyone is canopy-protected from the sun, and there's more extensive protection if it the weather gets bad. * Is this a customizable tour? YES! It's completely customizable. * Is this tour good for families? Absolutely. As the creator of "A Sailor's Wife" Blog I am always on the lookout for family-friendly activities, and this one fits the bill perfectly. Both the adults (me and my husband) and the kids loved it. Summary: HIGHLY RECOMMEND

Ms - Highly recommend taking this tour. Step was very knowledgeable in all the monuments history and provided information on DC as well. . We loved the pace as you were able to take everything in and Step made it a lot of fun, even in .93 degree heat. Beats being on a bus with a lot of people, your own personal tour. Don’t miss it.

Dc adventures - I had a couple friends come to visit DC. Being new to the area, I wasn’t sure what to show them. I’m so happy we did the tour. Steph and Blue were great tour guides. They gave us an exciting and informative tour of all of the monuments. They stopped where ever we wanted and let us explore while telling us the history of each location. They were funny, kind and accommodating. They even showed us a great late night sushi place called hammeltons. 10/10 would highly recommend.

Girls Trip to Washington DC - 3 longtime friends and I decided to take a long weekend trip to Washington DC and wanted to see all the sites. We made reservations for 2 pedicabs and they cycled us around to all the monuments and memorials and gave us all the background history for each. They gave us time to get out and take pictures and walk up to each if we wanted. This pair was was very fun, friendly and knowledgeable of all the sites. I was also in charge of getting pictures of Flat Stanley at all the sites for my grandson and they were very accommodating. I highly recommend seeing the sites by way of the pedicab for the ease of getting around and the fun facts. L Brown

Hands down the BEST DC tour!!! - Steph and Blue are AMAZING tour guides! They’re very knowledgeable and passionate. They were really animated and engaging with us, and it made for a really fun experience learning about DC’s history. Riding around in the back of the pedicab, while learning about the cool old buildings, was really neat and romantic. We also stopped at a few different monuments, walked around some, and took some cute pictures. They were very accommodating and sweet, and I HIGHLY recommend taking their tour!
