Easy to plan last minute - I had seen some of these items when I was 16 so I had an appreciation for them. As moving as the Korea and ?Vietnam memorials were, I enjoyed the FDR memorial most. I planned this last minute trip and two friends wanted to come along even after my last minute. Viator tours made this easy to plan as I had confidence in them, having used them several times, that my friends would enjoy the tours and appreciate my planning. I could not have done this without Viator.

Good, not great. - Our tour guide for the DC city was very knowledgeable. The only trouble I had was that he spent so much time regurgitating facts and figures, that I didn’t get much ‘interesting’ information. He would spew data at us then quiz us on the numbers. Seems more like he was trying to teach a class than give a tour. The mt Vernon part of the tour was on your own, and good. I recommend it. The driver to/from mt Vernon had a lot of info to share, including comments about his family and politics which were colorful but not really what I wanted as part of a tour. I’m glad we did this tour and would recommend it. We have had better tour experiences but this is still a good way to get a whirlwind tour of DC if you only have a day to do it.
