Impressionist and renaissance art were highlights for us at the National Gallery! - Our guide, whose name is escaping me sorry, is a history PhD student and therefore very knowledgeable about European and American history over a wide period of time. Her art knowledge was impressive as well and she was very personable as she described the various renaissance, impressionist art etc and answered all our questions. We were fortunate in that she was able to spend some extra time with us in the impressionist rooms, beyond the allotted time. We learned a lot and the art was overwhelming!

Excellent overview of the National Gallery - Excellent overview of the art on view at the National Gallery of Art. The tour guide had an extensive knowledge of art history. She presented every artist in the historic context and the style of painting at the time of the artist and how the styles had changed over the centuries. It’s a great museum to visit to see the best of every art period

Great tour of the NGA - If you want a guided tour of the highlights of the National Gallery of Art, then this tour is great! Our guide Claudia gave us a lot of valuable information about the artworks we saw. She took us on a tour that seemed to guide us through the different time periods and styles of art, while picking individual pieces that captured the key concepts and artists that are most important and popular. I got a lot out of it and it was a very fun time!

Great tour - Claudia was a great your guide and gave a thorough yet digestible history of key painters and sculptors of art history. She did a great job explaining the significance and development of different art styles and how they were influenced by previous trends but also made innovations. She picked key world of art to illustrate these innovations and provided interesting stories and personal insights into the lives of the artists. Overall a very informative and enjoyable tour - well worth the time!

Very Knowledgeable Guide! - I went with Claudia as my tour guide and she was great! She was so knowledgeable about both the art pieces along the tour, but could also answer questions about pieces that were not preplannned to feature on the tour. We went through Italian, British, and American art pieces that went somewhat chronologically. I do not know very much about art, so I liked that Claudia pointed out general features that were relevant to that artist or time period, and also specifics about the piece. She kept us moving and on time without feeling rushed. Overall, a really great tour.

Highly recommend!!! - I highly recommend this tour. In just 2 hours you won’t just see pretty much everything you need in West wing of the gallery but will also get a crash course in art history. Claudia is very knowledgeable and explains art pieces in context of time and history, influence from other artists, important world events. It’s the second tour I had with Unscripted and I’m very impressed by the level of their guides - highly educated, passionate about their subjects and very friendly.

Birthday Surprise - I've always been fascinated with history and Ford's theater. So when I found out that my surprise birthday present was participating in the Lincoln Assassation tour which included visiting the Peterson house and Ford's theater. I was beyond excited. Our tour guide Jim was fantastic and so knowledgeable. He was very friendly and answered all of our groups questions. He's made me look forward to my next guided tour.

An Amazing Tour - Our tour of the National art gallery was truly amazing thanks to Claudia. Her knowledge and warm personality made our visit amazing and she paid special attention to explaining everything in detail to my 13 year old son. He has never been to an art gallery before and said the 2 hours felt like 10 minutes which can only be attributed to her expertise and explanation of the artists.
