Great tour! Friendly & Knowledgeable Guide! - Loved all the tips given about other places in DC. Lots of fun factoids about the monuments, memorials and those who brought them to life in DC. Amanda was wonderful with me and my friend visiting from Belgium! Would definitely do another tour with her! Give that lady a raise! 😄

Enjoyed the tour from start to finish - Booked a group tour at the last minute so I could spend a morning getting a bit more information than if I had toured alone but also, selfishly, so I could not think about where to go for a few hours or stress about getting those last minute passes up the Washington monument. As it turned out my son and I were the only ones in the tour so we got a private experience with our guide Dan! Dan was full of energy and enthusiasm. He shared so much knowledge in every location we visited and was able to answer all of our questions. We also got to chat about our visit and he gave us some recommendations for the evening too. When I asked my 9 year old what I should say in the review he replied “the tour was great, my son loved it!” Thank you for the perfect Sunday morning in DC.

A little hiccup but our tour guide handled it patiently and professionally - Our guide John was really great. Very knowledgeable and friendly. There was an issue at the Washington monument because it was closing at noon due to the extreme heat. John tried explaining to the man letting people in that we had paid for the cut the line experience but he didn't seem to care and wasn't letting us up. John got the monuments supervisor on the phone but there just wasn't anything they could be done. Some members of our group were quite upset but it was out of John's control and that's the risk you take of touring DC in August. I appreciated how he handled the situation, very patiently and took the complaints in stride. The rest of the tour was wonderful.

Total disaster - It was a disaster we booked through Viator and found out when we arrived at the tour the tour guide had tickets for after the monument closed. We found out from the park ranger there is no such thing as skip the line privileges at the Washington monument.
