An architectural splendor - The Supreme Court was unfortunately closed during our visit to Washington ,but the Library of Congress was open and what a beautiful building it is , the interior is an architectural splendor

Supreme Court of the United States - The Supreme Court of the United States is the highest judicial body in the United States. In addition to this Supreme Federal Court, there are Supreme Courts at the state level.
An interesting fact is that the Supreme Court consists of nine judges who are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate, and then appointed for life. For us in Europe, being appointed as a judge for life is unthinkable.
