Tour guide did not show up - The tour guide did not show up. I received a reminder from Viator the day before my tour to show up at the meeting point at 11 am. At 11 am on the appointed day I find myself at the meeting point on a street in an unfamiliar part of the city. After waiting there for 30 minutes (10:30 am to 11:00 am), I unsuccessfully tried to reach my tour guide. Around 11:10 am I reached out to Viator and was told that they could not reach my tour guide. At this point half of my day was wasted. I then tried to find the museum on my own only to discover that it was closed for reconstruction. Considering that I booked this tour 1 month earlier my expectation was for someone to inform me that it was no longer available. At the present time I am waiting on a refund from Viator. Interesting, knowing what happened that still informed me that they would have to investigate the issue before they could process my refund.
