• Supreme Court - Just east of the Capitol, you’ll find the U.S. Supreme Court, the highest court in the land. Completed in 1935, you can admire its stunning exterior and delve into its rich history and traditions.
• Library of Congress - Next, you’ll visit the Library of Congress, the official research library for the U.S. Congress and the national library of the United States. As the oldest federal cultural institution in the country, the 1897 Thomas Jefferson Building showcases Italian-Renaissance architecture. One of the main highlights inside is the magnificent circular main reading room with its 160-foot ceiling.
• U.S. Capitol Visitor Center - Within the Capitol, you’ll find the U.S. Capitol Visitor Center, a large underground addition to the Capitol complex. It serves as a gathering point for up to 4,000 tourists and provides additional space for the U.S. Congress. Here, you’ll learn about the unique characteristics of the House, the Senate, and the U.S. legislative process, as well as the history and architectural development of the Capitol.

Our guide will conclude the tour by providing access passes and information about security protocols for the visitor galleries of the current chambers of the House of Representatives and/or the Senate, which you can explore at your leisure.
