Signature Tours - Fantastic driver, very knowledgeable tour guide. The guide knew more than most of the books I read on the memorials. Truly an a+ experience. We took the option to tour the Capitol and the Library of Congress. This was an excellent way to spend the day.

Definitely recommend - Vernon was a great guide. He knew facts from every stop, provided multiple water bottles and made sure we had shade. He was very aware of his surroundings and gave adequate time for pictures.

Great tour and refresher on American history - 5 stars! Vernon, our guide, was terrific and had great insight into the history of many of the monument sites. He worked at the Senate for many years and was able to share his experiences and memories, as well as the deep history of each site. He was also fun and hilarious, and kept us laughing in between sites. Godfrey, our driver, was always waiting for us at each stop of the tour with cold bottled water and AC, which in the summer heat, was greatly appreciated. He also made sure to drop me off at the African American museum in time for my optional tour. Really great experience all around and would highly recommend it to anyone looking to have a great time in DC.

Extra help from Tyrone - I just wrote a review but I forgot to add one thing that really stood out for me. At every stop Tyrone offered to take pictures of the family/ group that you were with. This way everyone in the family got to be in the pictures unlike many vacation pictures where one of the members is always left out of the picture. I have been on several tours and have never had the guide offer to take pictures.

I would pick something else - It was interesting. Driver was nice, kept us updated. Our guide was grumpy, he was knowledgeable, bit I don't want to pay for being scolded.

Speed Walkers Only - The guide rushed us through the tour. You must be a speed walker to keep up. He walked through crowds of people with expectations of having about 20 people to keep up with him. Some seemingly healthy people couldn’t stay within 200 feet from him. I wouldn’t recommend this if you want to learn and take photos. You will loose him If you stop for a photo.
