Additional Information

Small carry-on bags are allowed, however it is recommended that you ravel lightly. Due to security concerns, the tour operator reserves the right to search any bags or purses you bring on board. Many of the attractions in Washington DC are equipped with metal detectors at the entrances. Traveling without bags or purses is recommended
Due to time restrictions, you cannot go inside any of the monuments, however you can spend about 15-20 minutes at each stop to enjoy up-close views
No food allowed on buses (snacks are fine!)
The boat cruise is seasonal from April 1 to October 15
Convertible buses switch from open-tops to glass-tops between Oct 15 - Mar 15 due to colder temperatures

Satisfied & Impressed - Dion was a fantastic tour guide, spoke clearly, & was easy to understand. He was very adverse with the immense amount of information he was able to provide & was also able to answer questions. It was easy to tell he clearly enjoys his job and loves to educate people. If all of Viator’s tour guides are as pleasant and knowledgeable as Dion then you will be both satisfied and impressed.

Amazing experience - We had an amazing day visiting the famous sites of DC! Our guide Sam and driver Maggie were brilliant! We were out in 37° heat for most of our tour but Maggie always made sure we had cold water getting on and off the bus at each stop! Thank you for such a fab day out

Excellent tour of Dc and monuments - Excellent way to see most of the DC monuments. Van was very comfortable and air conditioning was very effective on a hot muggy day. Our guide Sam was very professional and gave excellent dialogue. Also enjoyed the 45 minute boat ride on the Potomac. Tour is an excellent value

Best tour guide in Washington DC - We had a wonderful, knowledgeable, helpful Tour guide and bus driver. But I would not recommend going on the bus that they call a glass top, which is really open air, when it is 102 in Washington DC.

Visiting Texans - Deon was our tour guide and Antonio was our driver and both deserve a big shout out. The amount of information that Deon knew was very impressive. I did think based on the description that we were to have a smaller group than what we had but it was manageable and Deon did a great job of making sure he had each group at the multiple stops we made. If you only have a day or two to spend in DC this is most definitely the way to go. It's really nice to have a live guide you can ask questions to instead of an audio recording. We took a USA Guided Tour in NYC two days before this tour and that guide & driver also did an outstanding job. We would definitely recommend them to anyone visiting either of these two areas.
