See D.C. - Standing! - This is a great way to see a lot of the prominent D.C. sights in a two hour Segway ride. The tour guide and safety person kept the large group together and communicated with radios to all participants. We recommend the 6:30pm tour - traffic is down a little, it is getting cooler and lights a coming on at some of the sights. Two hours is a long time on a Segway, but there is a good break midway through. Sites included some off-the-road locations you won't see in a car or bus tour.

Nervous Newbies Learn Segway Skills - I wanted to find a unique experience to share with my adult kids while vacationing in Washington, DC. One advertisement that popped up was for the DC Segway Tour. The price point seemed reasonable, and we all agreed to give it a try. The staff at the 818 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, DC is absolutely excellent. They quickly taught our family to operate a Segway--despite our nervousness. They offered sunscreen and clean restrooms before leaving. And, once out on the tour, their knowledge of the city was outstanding. We thoroughly enjoyed our morning, will definitely tell others of our adventure, and are quite proud of our new skill.
