The tour incorporates a (seasonal) 1 hour river cruise launching from Georgetown. Capture memorable moments at the White House and the US Capitol building, and get guided tours of various renowned monuments such as the Lincoln Memorial….
Experience the finest of Washington, DC on a 6-hour bus and walking tour guided around the city’s prominent locations. The tour incorporates a (seasonal) 1 hour river cruise launching from Georgetown. Capture memorable moments at the White House and the US Capitol building, and get guided tours of various renowned monuments such as the Lincoln Memorial. Lunch (at guest’s responsibility) is organized at the DC Wharf (from October 16 to March 24) or the Washington Harbour locality of Georgetown (from March 25 to October 15).
- There will be standing and walking during this tour. Please wear comfortable shoes and dress for the weather as much of the tour is outdoors. DC can be very hot in the summer and cold in the winter. Umbrellas and layers are recommended.
- Boat ride of Potomac River is seasonal (March 26 - October 16). When the boat is not operating, you will visit the Jefferson Memorial and Eisenhower Memorial instead
- NOTE: Hotel pickup or Drop-Off is not provided. Please plan accordingly.
- If you purchase an additional tour or ticket: Please ask your tour guide or driver for your upgrade when being checked in.

Fun, informative tour with excellent guides! - This tour was so amazing!! Not only did we get to see so many sites around the city, but we truly learned so much while we did it. Our tour guide was so friendly and knowledgeable. We were also laughing the entire tour at the tour guide's comedy while we drove from destination to destination. Though the tour was long, it was also structured and we knew what to expect. It didn't feel like a long day at all and I enjoyed every bit of this tour!

Signature Tours-DC - Tyrone, the guide, and Kris, the driver, made a great team. Tyrone was both knowledgeable and entertaining. Kris transported us safely to each destination. Highly recommend this trip—wonderful experience.

Our tour guide Tyrone was... - Our tour guide Tyrone was great and our driver Ali was amazing as well!!The stops were great and he told us a lot of history. A lot of walking but fun.

Nana Pack - Criss and Sally were wonderful tour guides on our DC tour. We were able to see everything we wanted too. Sally was extremely knowledgeable and taught us a lot about Washington DC and the history. Criss was an excellent job driving and getting us to all our sites safely. Amazing! Book now because you want to experience this! - Absolutely amazing! The communication and direction prior to the day of the tour were fantastic. We had no trouble finding the start location even with multiple train station and street closures on the day of our tour, inauguration weekend. Our tour guide, Duane, I believe, in his bright orange jacket so we could always find him, was extremely personable, conversing with the tour participants throughout the entire tour. He remembered where people were from and included facts related to the states of the participants. The guide was like a walking encyclopedia! He said he had 20 years experience leading tours and it showed. He pointed out details at every site and shared interesting facts as we drove from one location to the next. And, our driver was an absolute street genius! Roads were randomly closing but he always knew a way to get where we needed to go. He even helped out one of the tour participants by drying her wet socks on the dash of the van. It was quite rainy but that could not put a damper on this phenomenal tour. The cost of the tour was money well spent to have these gentlemen escort us to so many sites! Thank you immensely!

DC Day Tour w/Dwayne - Dwayne was the ALL AROUND BEST tour guide we have ever had. Huge historian, knew everything about each tourist attraction, statues, buildings, sites, Presidents. Just outstanding.

Fantastic experience, to experience all of the Washington monuments and key sites. Highly recommend the 5hour tour with James an -
Booked through Get Your Guide, read so much about all the different monuments and what to see and was initially a but overwhelmed, so glad I booked Signature Tours. We booked the 5-hour tour (the 3hr tour is essentially the same but misses out the Pentagon, Airforcr and the Marine Corps monuments which are definately worth a visit and across the highway in Virginia). Our guide, James, was exceptional — his background as a history teacher, working at the Dept of Agriculture and extensive tour experience definately shows as he expertly navigates you through the crowds and gives you insights at each monument.
Our driver Chris, was equally impressive, skillfully parking the van at the front of each site and their timing between drop offs and pick ups was perfect .
The van we moved around in was fantastic, with large windows offering great views, spacious and clean. The tour stopped at every major monument, and James provided detailed explanations about each one.
Overall a well-organised and fantastic tour, as a first-time visitor this tour is a must-do!

Terrible DO NOT BOOK - Terrible company, the tour guide rambled about flowers the whole time with occasional good information. we were behind all day and got no time to really take in the sights at each stop. a couple people left because we missed the boat ride which was the main reason for coming because of the good sights of the cherry blossom trees. we barely even saw them and got no chances to take pictures of them. we couldn’t go up in to the lincoln memorial which was the other main reason for even coming. i will be requesting a refund for this horrible experience!
