Check in at the hotel and embark on a boat trip to observe the hippopotamus colonies (subject to water levels) or take a guided walk along the river to explore the local flora and fauna.

Kedougou - Rise early for a guided walk in Niokolo Koba Park to spot wildlife. There’s a good chance of encountering panthers, lions, birds, antelopes, various bird species, warthogs, monkeys, and more. After the guided game drive, enjoy lunch, then depart for the village of Mako. Take a walk along the river to search for hippos before continuing to Kedougou.
