The best way to see Thonburi - I cannot recommend this tour highly enough. What a wonderful way to see a side of Bangkok that many tourists overlook. Seeing the beautiful houses from the canal was such a unique experience and a glimpse into the real Bangkok. The giant Buddha was a sight to behold and my tip is don’t eat a big breakfast before you go as we were treated to so much amazing food. Thank you so much to the wonderful team at Hidden Bangkok for a great morning- your love and passion for your city shines through!

Explore the waterways of Bangkok with Hidden Bangkok Tours - I would highly consider reserving your seat on your personal long tail boat with Hidden Bangkok tours. This tour is the stress-free approach to learn about the historical canals that were the lifeline to the main district. I want to acknowledge Pear our tour guide for her knowledge and answering so many of our questions. She was a delight to accompany all of us and offered her services taking pictures of our tour. The boat staff was extremely hospitable helping my senior parents in and out of the long tail boat which made the transfers to the multiple stops with ease. I would advise paying the extra fee for the guide to really get an appreciation for the history of one of the most historical waterways of Bangkok. Thank you Hidden Bangkok Tours for a memorable trip

Exceptional experience, exceeded expectations! - A peak into old Bangkok when the canals provided the main transport routes. Yo Yo our guide for the tour is incredible, other tourists were so impressed they interjected to ask how they could do the same tour. Yo Yo is very personable, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. His English is excellent and shares so much information about the social and political history of Bangkok and Thailand. We learned so much and at the same time it’s such a unique experience. I vote Yo Yo best tour guide 2024. Sincere thanks Yo Yo, Adam, Hugo and Andrea.

Absolutely recommend! Perfect way to see different parts of the city & learn about Bangkok’s history/culture. - Very cool way to see different parts of the city! The seats were also very comfortable. Our tour guide was AMAZING! We learned a ton about the history and culture of Bangkok. LOVED getting out of the boat and seeing the Big Buddha! They provide water for you (but you can bring anything else on) and ponchos if it rains. Definitely recommend!

Highlight of our trip - This tour was the highlight of our trip. I took my mum to Thailand for her first overseas trip and she has poor mobility so we needed to ensure whatever we did, it could accommodate my mums needs. The workers on the tour - the tour guide, the driver - were so so lovely. Our tour guide was incredibly hospitable and kind. She endeavoured to ensure my mum was comfortable and regularly checked in to see if she was ok. The tour itself was incredible. The thing we enjoyed most was learning about Thai history and culture and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. Don’t look elsewhere- certainly book this one!!!

Nice boat tour and tasty food - We went on a 2 hour tour on Bangkok Yai canal. We could choose to stop 40 minutes at the artist village or at a temple, we choosed the temple. Our Captain for the tour was a very professional lady. She manouvered the boat at a comfortable speed in the canals. We didn´t hire a guide so we can´t comment on that. There was several longtail boats with tourists flying by on the canals like they were in a big hurry. It didn´t look relaxing to us. We are satisfied that we choosed to go with Hidden Bangkok Tours and got to experienced the charming boats that they are using. Both before and after the tour the company provided information in how to get there with photo description, how much to pay if you used a tuk tuk and so on... We also ate a bit food at their restaurant, Baan Ploen Dee. It tasted good, the price was nice and the waiteress lovely with a big smile. If you want to do a boat tour on the canals I can recommend this company. I recommend their restaurant next to the river for a tasty meal break even if you are not going on a boat tour. It isn´t to far from Wat Arun....
