This is the travel time from Caye Caulker Island (Belize) to San Pedro Island (Belize), which is the first point of the trip. In San Pedro the boat docks at the “San Pedro International Ferry Terminal” dock.
1 hour in Immigration & Customs in San Pedro:
In San Pedro, passengers get off the boat and register their departure from the country of Belize with the immigration and customs authorities of that country. Passengers pay the departure tax of 20 USD. Once this process is finished, the passengers return to the boat to continue their trip to Chetumal.
1 hour and 30 minutes from San Pedro to Chetumal:
This is the travel time from Chetumal (Mexico) to San Pedro Island (Belize). The boat finishes its journey and docks at the Chetumal Fiscal Dock, where passengers get off and pass through Mexican Immigration and Customs to enter the country. Passengers must pay their entry tax of 750 MXN (They only accept credit or debit cards). Once the process is finished, you will be able to begin your stay in Chetumal.
