A really nice visit after the Waterford glass tour! - All of the museums together are interesting. There were interesting exhibits in the Treasures, Silver and Time museums and all of the staff were helpful, knowledgeable and enthusiastic.

Fantastic - I found the museum very interesting, with a lot of information and objects. You can stay hours reading and seeing all of them. The video is very interesting too, and the employers at the entrance are very nice.

Unexpected delight! - Unexpectedly impressive visit to the Medieval Treasures Museum. Wonderful 45 min tour (included in the admission price) from Jamie. Marvellous collection, in a beautiful building, successfully integrating medieval building elements with modern exhibition spaces. The small Silver Museum (one of 4 museums plus Walking Tour included in the €20 Freedom Pass) is well worth a visit.

Excellent value, fabulous exhibits, thoroughly informative - Well worth doing. Some extraordinary exhibits, especially, of course, the gold vestments. The choristers’ cellar is fascinating and the history from Vikings through Norman’s and past Oliver Cromwell’s time was all fascinating. Laura was an excellent guide with lots of great information.

Waterford Music at the Medieval Museum - We held 3 very successful concerts in the Medieval Museum as part of our Spring Series. Staff engagement and cooperation was superb, making our museum experience a pleasure. Audiences and artists were very enthusiastic about the venue. A great experience every step of the way.

Hidden gems of Waterford - We really enjoyed our guided tour of the Medieval Museum. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had a great enthusiasm for the history she shared. Our only regret was we were able to take advantage of staying and exploring the rest of the museum on our own, as we needed to rejoin our tour group. I look forward to seeing more of this and the other museums in Waterford on our next visit.

Good experience. - The museum was very well laid out and informative. You got a real sense of what it was like in those days. It is reasonably priced as well.

Good museum covering Waterford's history - Good museum, that covers Waterford's history from the original Viking settlement thru the medieval period to the 17th century. Some interesting relics and historical documents on display.

Too expensive - 10 euros for a ticket is too expensive for a museum that shows something of Waterford's history. The most interesting is the story about the competition between New Ross and Waterford, with the accompanying charters. With children you can definitely skip this and for adults I would save this for a rainy day. There are plenty of them in Ireland anyway ....

OK museum. - Turned up last week to bring a friend to visit the Medieval Museum. Paided to get in but was not told the Choristers’ Hall and Mayor's Wine Vault was closed to the public which is the best part of the museum.
