Mount Huashan - Mount Hua(Huashan), one of China’s five sacred mountains is located in Western China, in the territory of Huayin City, 120km away from Xi An. The mountain has five main peaks
â a North, South, East, West, and Center. It has a Plank Walk located at South Peak that is considered by many to be one of the most dangerous hikes in the world. Hikers who challenge it will have to traverse paths made up of narrow planks of wood bolted to the side of a cliff, 2000 feet in the air. Even though there are harnesses attached to all hikers challenging the path, the experience is still one of the most thrilling on earth! An excellent dayout of Xi'an - Organised at the absolute last minute, but it went slickly. Driver Warren spoke good English and was pro-active, turning a good program into a great one. The mountain itself was very crowded and the walk was more like a procession, but it is well worth doing.
