From there, a walk along the Wellington seismic fault line leads to the botanic gardens, where the exotic and native plants are beautifully intertwined, providing insight into New Zealand’s distinctive flora and fauna as visitors explore the lush New Zealand bush.
Upon reaching the top of the gardens, at the summit of the cable car, guests can enjoy the stunning view, identify landmarks, and get a sense of orientation.
The journey continues through neighborhoods and areas that 90 percent of tourists never experience, culminating at Cuba Street, the vibrant heart of the city, for a brief refreshment.
The tour concludes at the national Museum on the waterfront.
