Kind Guide - We missed the meeting point, but the Guide contacted us and picked us up at our location. Although they are English Guides, they used photographs and other materials to teach us carefully so that those of us who do not understand English can understand.

Great Half Day for LOTR Fans or Not - We were struggling to decide if we will do a full or half day tour. While we did have some regrets of not going on the full day, the half day's tour has totally fascinate us. Visiting the movie set, the well executed tour to the WETA Workshop is super eye opening. Everyone should really do this tour. We enjoyed every bit of it.

Half day LOTR - A fun tour, with lots of little details and interesting information related to LOTR. Made the trip to Weta a fuller and more complete experience.

Best day ever! - We had SO MUCH FUN!!! Ah there wasn't a single complaint about this tour. It was exciting to see the actual sword of Saurmon and his armor not only that but to see where they filmed the famous "Get off the road!" scene and walk down the path they used to escape the Nazghoul was just chefs kiss. When we come back we are definitely doing the full day tour.

Best tour - Can not recommend this tour enough . Nathan was a great guide and shared his knowledge about for Wellington with us. This was a family trip with adult children and we all had a great day. Nathan was kind enough at the end of the tour to share some tips on where to visit and eat . Thanks for making our day so great .

Visit the museum skip this tour. - The Weta Museum tour was interesting but most of the tour was run by TV video link to the owners, they are passionate and very talented- guide at museum was knowledgeable and informative. Our experience from the Viator guide was not great - spent a long time in a forest looking at trees with old tatty photos of film scenes. A forest walk which was not discussed and not suitable for persons with health concerns. We were rushed at the end to get back because the guide was only getting paid to a certain time - strongly encouraged to leave tour in the city so he didn’t have to drive back to ship terminal. Not worth the cost of this tour at all… sorry guys
