Can't remember getting home!! - This tour was awesome.. Stella took us around some great Cocktail bars and we tried some new and some favourite cocktails. Really laid back and enjoyable time. Problem was after Dinner, when we knew where the cocktail bars were on the way home.. and how good the cocktails were!! Took me a day to recover!! 🤣

Something Different - The whole tour was fantastic ! Jon was a wonderful knowledgeable host who took us to some magic bars and tasted some really different cocktails ,highly recommend this tour when in wellington. Fantastic Cocktail Tour - Jon and Peter were excellent hosts. Wellington has some very cool tucked-away bars and venues. The highlight was to see a different side of the city I have lived in for 20 years. We enjoyed 8 or more split cocktails which was a great way to have a small amount of each. Great way to start a night in town and a great way to end a long day of work. This tour is classy and very non-pretentious. You get an insider's take on the hosptitality scene in Welly, Jon has a great reputation and knows exactly where to go! Highly recommend.

Best tour guide we've ever had! - Most of the time when I feel a distinct urge to write a review for a product, company, or service, the experience has been woefully negative. The Wellington Food and Spice Odyssey shatters that tradition by providing one of the most enjoyable experiences during my 15 days in New Zealand. The perfect traveler would have an old friend conveniently stationed at every city that he or she could possibly travel to, serving as an easy and relaxed way to find the best spots. This friend would cut the crap and head directly to where THEY like- what's interesting? What's consistently good? What is that one bar that you show your friend who only has a night in town? Our Guide, Jon, met us promptly at a the designated address on time. Dressed smartly, but with no uniform or touristy tackiness, he introduced himself and got straight to it! Without being overbearing or strange, Jon swept us around the city, guiding us to a number of bars in the area. Each location had a bartender waiting to explain their choice cocktail to us- and had saved us prime seats to watch and ask questions! Jon suggested at the beginning that no cocktail would be similar to each other. With some of the bars providing multiple tastings, its seemed like quite a stretch! To our surprise, every single drink was unique and special in its own way. As we left each hidden building and moved on to the next one, Jon took charge, expertly identifying our interests and catering his thoughts and information about Wellington to his guests- now his old friends. As he opened the door to the next bar, we are swept into a new world that we would never would have found on our own. Jon stepped aside, inviting the expert behind the bar to impress and delight with his craft. When the mixologist was finished, Jon took the reigns once again, steering our cocktail cruise to a successful voyage- Onward on our Objectively Outstanding Odyssey. Odyssey has clearly developed real and meaningful relationships with the cocktail bars that he brings guests to. At no point did this feel like a cookie from a box. Please- stop reading reviews and ratings and book this tour!

Vacation - Great tour. Showed us places and drinks we wouldn't likely have found on our own. Very friendly guides too.

Great start to an evening - Really great start to an evening out. We visited four bars and had four very different, but very good cocktails. Was on the pricey side but worth the extravagance if you’re after something a bit special.
