Wellington city tour - Even though the weather was not great, Dean showed us around most of this beautiful city. We had an excellent lunch and were happy with where we went and what we saw. The included tour at the Te Pa museum was a standout with what it covered. Would do it all again given the opportunity.

Amazing Day in Wellington - We had a fantastic time. Our tour guide did an amazing job showing us everything despite it being a rainy day. The Te Papa Museum was a hidden gem we didn’t even know was a part of the tour and St Paul’s Church was magnificent. Definitely recommend booking and enjoying Wellington with Xplor Tours.

Action packed day tour - Great day in Wellington on a small group tour shore excursion! Peter was a wealth of information. We packed in so many sights that we never could have seen on a ship shore excursion. Highlights were Weta Workshop, the cable car ride, the beautiful architecture and views from lookout points. Thanks for the great day!

Excellent tour. Great for cruise passengers. - If you are on a cruise ship suggest you do this one instead of the ones from the cruise line. One it is all day so you see a lot more areas surrounding Wellington. Also the Lord of the Ring production and design company is a lot more then just LOTR regarding movie special effects. Excellent tour.

Wonderful day in Wellington - Dion was an excellent tour guide taking us through his beloved Wellington. He was filled with more than historical information but lots of personal anecdotes about the lovely city. We drove many miles around the city and felt we got a very good feel for Wellington on a lovely day after a stormy night at sea. We would highly recommend the all-day tour.

Wellington tour - We saw a lot of things/places but my feeling was that there was too much and we were rushed, especially at the exhibition of the Māori history.

The Driver was not a great guide. He left 2 people after our first stop. I realized it and told him. We had already left - Our driver left 2 people after our first stop. I had to tell him To go back. He let us out at one stop on the side traffic was racing by. It wasn’t safe. I had to tell him every time to turn on his microphone. He hadn’t driven a manual transmission in 30 years and our bus was manual transmission. He stalled several times. The stop he took us to for lunch ( which was not included) was terrible And was the only option we got peanuts, bananas and a drink at a store across the street.
