Sneak Peak into Prop and Costume Making - It was very interesting to get a little sneak peak into what kind of work the Weta Workshop does. I'm very interested in movies, behind the scenes and prop-making in general so it was a highlight for me to get there. I also really liked the fact that you're not allowed to take pictures inside unless specifically stated. That means no crowds of people in front of objects just to take a picture - amazing! Logan was also a great tour guide who could answer every question asked and was just generally a very nice guy.

Great second visit 14 years after our first. So much has changed! - We had a very enthusiastic and personable tour guide (I’m horrible with names but think it was Tessa?). She was knowledgeable and genuinely seemed to enjoy what she was doing despite what must, at times, seem terribly repetitious to her. Very commendable!

One of the most memorable tours in NZ. - What an absolute fun and amazing experience. We all loved going on this tour and found it to be one of the most memorable experiences on our NZ wide trip. Highly recommend, it's extremely interesting and the visuals are the best there is. Wish we could see even more!

Such a great experience! - It was so cool to see and touch a bunch of the different materials and props, learn about the processes, and speak to some of the craftspeople. Would 100% do it again!

Amazing! - Amazing! It was cool to see how the costumes, make-up and props are created for films like Lord of the Rings, Narnia and others. I recommend this tour to anyone who ever wondered how did they do that.

Interesting tour - Overall, a good experience, looking at the delivery could be improved, videos etc. At times we found the delivery slightly overwhelming.

Weta tour - Weta studio was amazing as we are big fans of the LOTR and the hobbit. I wish we had more time to look around as this is very popular.

Very underwhelming - I am a big fan of Weta and their work but this tour was very underwhelming. I was expecting so much more, instead of just some videos. You can find more interesting videos on YouTube than visiting. I was expecting to be able to visit the actual workshop and not just see some pre set rooms with two little windows to the (empty) workshop :(
