Yandang Mountain Scenic Area - Assemble at the hotel lobby by 7:30am for a journey to the renowned Yandang Mountain, often hailed as the premier mountain in Southeast China and one of the country’s top ten. Its picturesque landscapes have served as the backdrop for numerous films and TV shows. This ancient rhyolite volcano, which took shape 120 million years ago, spans 450 square meters and encompasses over 550 attractions within its 8 scenic districts. The trio of Lingfeng Peak, Lingyan Rock, and Dalong Qiu Waterfall are celebrated as the ‘Three Wonders of Yandang Mountain.’ Explore the daytime splendor of Lingfeng Peak (minimum of 80 minutes), the concealed Guan Yin Hole nestled within the mountain’s grasp, remnants of the paleovolcano, and more. Proceed to the Dalongqiu Scenic Zone (minimum of 80 minutes) to witness landmarks like Scissors Peak, Bear Rock, Yifan Peak, and the towering 197-meter Dalongqiu Waterfall. Continue to the Lingyan Rock Scenic Area (minimum of 100 minutes) for a thrilling cliff flight show, a visit to the xiaolongqiu waterfall, wolong valley, and an exhilarating glass walkway experience. No visit to Yandang Mountain is complete without the unique night view of Lingfeng Peak (minimum of 40 minutes), notable for being the world’s only naturally unlit nocturnal spectacle.
