Have you always wondered what it’s like to breathe underwater? If you want to try scuba diving, but aren’t quite ready to take the plunge into a certification course, Discover Scuba Diving is for you. Discover Scuba Diving can be credited towards the PADI Open Water Diver certification. The dive portion is from the boat to the second largest barrier reef in the world and if you enjoy the course, it is the first step towards completing your Scuba certification.

West Bay diver. - Our first time diving and Gaby took great care of us. She was patient and very clear with instructions made us feel safe and well taken care off. Thank you Gaby!!! I highly recommend them ypu wo t regret it.

Excellent discover scuba - Joel was a terrific guide. Super knowledgeable and patient. Instructed us well on the equipment, beach check out and then a great dive off the boat. Top notch, will definitely return!

Diving in Roatan - We are semi new to diving this is our fourth and for some others ninth dive trip Maygham and Karim did a great job refreshing our knowledge. Helpful and very knowledgeable throughout the dive which was beautiful. Edwin, the captain and the photographer (cannot remember his name) were super nice and very helpful.

Effortless and enjoyable - This was our second time doing the private discover scuba experience and it was just as awesome as the first time. Our group of four dove with Peter and Jose, who were patient and kind (especially since one person in the group was very nervous), informative and fun. They made the experience effortless for us. They moved at jsut the right pace and helped us see the amazing underwater sights. West Bay Divers is truly a top notch organization and we will dive with them again, perhaps next year.

Scuba diving experience - Really enjoyed the scuba experience with Bastian he took his time explaining each step of the diving from a beginner perspective. I have been wanting to try scuba diving for the longest time and I’m glad I got to see small turtle, snapper, and African pompano, channel clinging crab. It was the best. Thank you Bastian

Bastiaan the superhero! - Bastiaan is a saint. My wife was very nervous about scuba and Bastiaan literally saved the day. She was fighting giving up and he was so patient, calm and reassuring. She ended up really enjoying it and we are actually going with Bastiaan again tomm. Bastiaan has so much knowledge and paired with life giving energy is perfect.
The whole set-up at West Bay Divers is ideal with a laid back vibe.

Discovery Dive - amazing experience - The crew at West Bay Divers was amazing. Cici was my instructor who took very good care of me as this was my first time and doing the discovery dive. I’m in love it and will definitely be working toward my certification. Alex was the boat Captain and was amazing.
Wayne was very responsive to my emails when inquiring and booking my dive and even quickly responded to my follow up questions once I arrived in Roatán. Highly recommended this crew. Oh and the other divers were very welcoming as I ventured out on my first diver.

Amazing and beautiful - Great experience! The team at West Bay was extremely friendly and helpful. We were particularly appreciative of Megan and Joel's help in the dive. Would definitely recommend to anyone who'd like to experience diving!

Great experience - Amazing experience! I honestly probably never would have tried diving if I didn’t happen to meet Bastiaan. I was nervous to try it the first time and he was very patient and catered the experience to what I felt comfortable with. Highly recommend booking with Bastiaan!

Excellent instructors for the nervous diver - As a first time diver who was terrified to try this experience, our instructors (Bastian and Joel) were amazing. They were patient, gave me confidence and didn't make me feel like I was slowing things down. I wanted to back out and ended up having an amazing experience! Thank you!
