A great way to experience Roatan - This is the 3rd time we’ve gone with Victor Borden Tours. Our guide the first time was a great young man named Denry. We request him every time now. He’s like a family member who knows everything about Roatan. And drives the van! VB Tours has a nice variety of tour packages or they’re more than happy to customize a day just for you.

Best guide and friend! - We had the best time ziplining, holding sloths, monkeys, and parrots! Denry, our awesome guide, then took us to the perfect private beach (Henry Morgan’s) where we snorkeled and saw all kinds of sea life, including tons of fish and sea turtles! Denry was the best guide and driver. We will definitely be using Victor Bodden in the future and requesting Denry!

Ziplining, Sloths, and Beach! Amazing! - Isaac was our driver and was waiting for us when we arrived from our cruise ship. My 2 adult daughters, along with another couple, headed to the ziplining experience first. Such a blast and more ziplines than most places offer. We then headed to see the sloths and other animals. Oh gosh, if you've never held a sloth, you must go here! Everybody will have a turn holding a sloth. They are so sweet, and there were even tiny baby sloths! We didn't feel rushed at all with the animals, but when we were ready, Isaac took us to West Bay Beach. It was beautiful there and they even had a pool with plenty of chairs in the shade. It was so relaxing. We spent around 3 hours there and Isaac was back to pick us up and take us back to the port at our agreed upon time. This was a wonderful excursion, and I highly recommend it if you are visiting the beautiful island of Roatan.

Love this Tour in Roatan! - We have been to Victor Bodden’s Animal Sanctuary twice! We loved it so much we came back. The van picks you up at the port and will take you anywhere on the island. We made a stop at the Stone Castle where they make hand made carvings on shells, cameos and lamps, it was beautiful! We then headed to the sanctuary where we got time with a monkey and some beautiful birds on our heads. Then we headed to the sloth 🦥 area! They are so sweet and used to humans they snuggle for a bit and we got sone great pictures! There is more to do there like Ziplines and ATV’s but we didn’t do that. We wanted to do some more sightseeing. We went to Mayak Chocolate and learned how they make it and got some samples! We then took a drive across town to the Roatán Rum factory. After taste tests we chose our favorite and drove to see the beach. 🏖️ George then dropped us back off at the port so we could do some more shopping and head back to the ship. It was awesome!

Awesome Zipline and Sloth Experience - Overall a fantastic day for our party of 8, we did the zipline, sloth experience and West Bay Beach trip. First, I booked this for our group almost a year ago, and the communication was fantastic from start to finish. Very thorough instructions and expectations were sent multiple times. The tour group was easy to find when exiting the cruise port. This is a well run operation. The zipline was extensive and the views were amazing. Two of our party did not do the zipline and they had a great spot to sit and wait where they could see the rest of us zipping through the jungle with outstanding guides, felt very safe the entire time. Loved the sloth experience, and we had plenty of time with the various animals and never felt rushed even on such a busy day. I would absolutely return and would like to do the ATV experience also. The beach part was not our cup of tea. While the resort we were delivered to was beautiful, it was SO crowded and there was only one very expensive restaurant to choose from that was easily accessible. My older parents were with us and it wasn’t great for them in terms of being able to easily navigate, and there were tons of people constantly approaching us asking us to buy various things. There was no option of food and drink on the beach, so that was a bit of a bummer. We were hot, hungry and just wanting to get back to the ship at this point. Was super nervous about getting back to the ship in time, and the driver arrived back to pick us up right on time, so no worries there! As I said, overall was a great day, just know what you are getting if you choose the beach package.

She took us to see the Monkeys and sloths and we took the ATV tour also. After we went shopping and out to lunch. If you’re in the area request Norma!! She knew the area very well! Excellent driver and guide! Thanks Norma!

Nickel and dime after arrival with so many people asking for tips. - The sloth encounter was definitely the highlight. Sloths are so soft and hug you like a teddy bear and don’t move. Loved them so much! The zip line was fun, there are 10 different lines to ziplome down. Did not like how there were 3-4 employees helping just the two of us and then at the end giving a speech and asking for $20 for EACH GUIDE!!! Then when we went to the western bay beach, you have to pay $20 per person to get through the gate and down to the beach. That is not mentioned anywhere beforehand. Not only did everyone we encounter want a tip, but when we got to the beach there were so many peddlers trying to sell us all sorts of things. It was very uncomfortable when all we wanted to do was walk the beach peacefully and lay in our sun chairs. If you go to Roatan, remember every employee wants $20. 🤪😍
