Amazing guide and amazing experience - Dani was extremely knowledgeable and the tour was well thought out. He explained much about the ecology of the ocean. The areas he took us were beautiful and you get to see things you never realized you needed to see and experience. Thank you Dani!

Great snorkeling experiences! - Mario was a great guide and there to assist whenever we needed (ie getting back into the boat. The length of the snorkeling was perfect….didn’t feel too short or too long—-just right!!! We were exhausted after all the swimming and went back to cruise ship and napped.

First time snorkelers - First time snorkeling and they were so patient with us. Made us feel comfortable. We did the 3 sites. Our first site was about 30 min of water time. The other two stops were much shorter, about 15 minutes each. our total water time was one hour. Other reviews and communication with the company beforehand said the water time would be 90ish minutes so I disappointed with this. But this was my only complaint. Our guide, Patrice, was friendly. We liked that we were the only ones in our group. We would do this again! We saw a big ray, eel, and many other fish! Beautiful! 10 and 16 year old sons both voted this the highlight of the cruise. Also worth mentioning it was very easy to find our guide right outside the cruise terminal. Exactly as the instructions described.

If you’re looking for a great experience-you’ve found it! - This tour was fantastic!! Dani happily accommodated our requests and answered all of our questions within minutes. Andres was our guide-couldn’t have been a sweeter guy. He basically gave us a mini tour on the way to the boat, chatted about the island and all sorts of things. He explained where to go at each dive spot and then free dived along side us to point out any particularly interesting fish, squid, etc. Also, the snorkel equipment was like new and very comfortable. Highly recommend!!!

Fun afternoon! - Everyone had a great time - the perfect way to spend the afternoon. Group of 5 all enjoyed the sites and our captain (sorry too long ago to remember his name) but he was great too.

Our favorite snorkeling tour ever. - 5 stars. Our trip was delayed due to smoke closing the airport. Dani was very understanding and willing to reschedule several times. It was a private boat tour. Our guide Mario was amazing. We loved all 3 snorkel spots. Beautiful coral, so many fish. Mario kept a pace we could easily follow and use our GoPros. He pointed out a lot of wonderful things. We even received photos he took while we snorkeling around The Aquarium. We did not expect photos. This was our favorite snorkeling experience ever! Definitely recommend this tour.

Highly recommended this tour company - Andres was an amazing guide! He was very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. When my 10 year old asked Andres about the local currency he pulled out his wallet and showed him the different bills he had and even gave him a Lempira. He told everyone about this. It was only our family of 4 so it was awesome to be on a private tour. We did the 3 site snorkel tour, the reef and the blue channel were so beautiful! I would highly recommend RTGA to anyone wanting to snorkel while visiting Roatan.

Beautiful and amazing - Marco was AMAZING!!!! This was last our guided snorkeling trip here in Roatan. It was our absolute favorite! The water was so clear. So much coral and fish! It was just the 2 of us with our guide. Marco was attentive. He gave us plenty of time to film with our GoPros as we swam. He pointed out lots of things to us. We are so greatful to him for making this such an amazing snorkeling experience. Definitely worth it. I highly recommend this trip.

My favorite tour of the trip! - This was my favorite tour of our trip! Mario, our guide was great and managed to spot all kinds of unique reef life for us to see. Turtle Crossing was by far my favorite snorkel spot. We saw so many fish in addition to some things I had never seen before that I got to cross off my list, including a very large green moray eel, a great barracuda, and grouper. From turtle crossing, we went to blue channel which is an absolute must for both snorkelers and divers alike. The beauty of the blue channel cannot be understated. The Aquarium site had lots of reef fish to see. The waters were calm and warm and I could not have asked for a better time! Routan Tour Guide Association was a great company to work with and next time I am in Routan I will definitely be booking with this company again!

Safe, easy and great! - Very easy to find our tour operator just outside the port. Had a personal vechile take us to the boat. Had the boat to oursevles. Mario was with us all the way and drove us back diretly to the port gate. Very good snorkling. Took us to two spots and saw some beautiful fish. Felt perfectly safe all the time.
