Amazing day spent on Roatan. Thanks so much Joshua - We are currently on a western Caribbean cruise via Royal Caribbean. One of our ports of call was Roatan, Honduras. We noticed the ship offered a sloth encounter which we seriously considered. My wife’s colleague just so happened to be on the same cruise the week prior. She recommended calling Joshua @ Alpha Tours Roatan We were a party of 9 and were able to book a whole day private tour via Joshua. The itinerary included the sloth / animal sanctuary, a chocolate factory experience, a rum distillery experience, lunch at a local spot, and lastly time at the beach The communication with Joshua was very easy (communicated via FB MESSENGER) he provided very clear details on where to go the day we arrived in Port. Him and the driver met us right outside of the gates to the cruise port. Was very easy to find him and we were on our way. They stock the van with cold beverages for everyone to enjoy(included in your) you also can leave any non valuable belongings in the van as you set out on foot which is nice Our first stop once we departed was the sloth experience. I might have to do a separate review for thst but it was so much fun. The whole family was able to hold and interact with so many animals that I’ve only seen at zoo exhibits. Want a monkey to jump onto your shoulder and eat? Sure thing… You want to carry a sloth and cradle it. Sure thing. So much fun. 2nd stop was a trip to a local chocolate factory(when I say factory these are small roadside buildings) they let you sample the various chocolates they produce and you are welcome to purchase. (They gladly accept USD as well as credit cards) 3rd stop we stopped at a small souvenir shop to buy some locally made goods. Nothing special but was nice to interact with the locals and purchase some stuff to bring back to the states 4th was a pit stop at a local rum shop that had stunning views of the coastline. You can sample the rum and rum cakes. Also available for purchase Stopped for a quick lunch before hitting the beach. Was a Jamaican inspired restaurant. Was able to get some decent jerk chicken and a cold beer. No language barrier I might add. A lot of English speaking folks Last stop was the beach on what was the “wealthy” end of the island. Lots of activities, food, drink, and souvenirs. The beach was beautiful, the water clear and calm. Just what you would expect around these parts Joshua was so cool to spend the day with. Answering all of our questions while also immersing us the the history or the island. Most people get nervous abt booking a non cruise line excursion, but have no fear. Josh is very mindful of the time and ensuring he gets you back to port with plenty of time to spare. Also shout out to the driver Marco. I come from New York where driving is intense. This was another level over here is Roatan. He has skills! I hope this review helps any of you who happen to be visiting Roatan via one of the cruise lines. This was by far our favorite stop so far on this cruise. I cannot recommend this place enough. Book a tour with Joshua…you won’t regret it

Best tour I could ever have - A big thank you to Alpha Tours and Juan for a great experience and day. Juan was very informative and helpful, he answered all of our questions and explained everything very well. We had a wonderful day and we can’t recommend them enough. Best tour guide ever! Definitely book with them if you ever come to Roatan. We did the zip line, the sloth and monkey park with much more animals, the chocolate and rum factory and the Roatan sign. Best tour in Roatan - Our tour guide Joel was extremely knowledgeable about the area! We went to all the spots and he even helped us organize snorkeling at the beach. This is THE BEST tour in Roatan!!

Fantastic day! - We had a fantastic day with Emmanuel from Alpha tours! He toured us around the island and showed us all the beauty she found. We also made memories will treasure forever interacting with the tucans, monkeys, sloths, and other exotic animals. We had a wheelchair in our party and they were so helpful and accommodating! I highly recommend Alpha tours!

We had a great time just wish the taste test was more in the chocolate factory but overall I enjoyed it. - The tour guide Joel was awesome and would recommend him to everyone. Very informative about what everything was as we passed different areas going to our tour. Will ask for Joel every time!!!!!!!

5 stars - great tour! - John was our tour guide and he was amazing! We did the zip line, the animal tour with monkeys, birds and holding the sloth. He drove us around the city and took us to a small place to have lunch (tacos). He took tons of photos for us. 5 stars. It was a very personal trip (just us) and well worth it.
