Wonderful tour! - It was a great tour and Olga was a wonderful guide. She gave us a ton of information and facts about the island as we passed sites between scheduled stops. The animal sanctuary was a highlight and it was nice to end with a relaxing time on the beach.

A wonderful day in Roatan! - My wife and I just returned from our private tour with Roatan Five Star tours. We had a wonderful day and our tour guide Brian was great! He was born and raised on Roatan and was very knowledgeable about everything. We would definitely recommend Five Star tours and Brian if you plan on visiting Roatan.

We had an amazing day in Rhoatan! - We had an absolutely wonderful day with our guide Remey. Private tour with just 4 of us in a new vehicle. Remey let us decide what we wanted to do and see. We held sloths, played with monkeys and birds. Then we went to the chocolate factory and rum factory. Finally it was time for the beach and lunch. Remey even got us a table in the busy beach restaurant! Remey let us decide how long we wanted to stay at each place. He really was the best guide we have ever had. All in all it was an amazing experience and would totally do it again if we come back.

We had a great time - Our tour guide was George. I liked the one one shuttling for just us. Make sure you tip. I saw folks not tipping after a great time on the zipline and the personal attention at the zoo and it didn't seem right.

Okay, but not great - The driver did not introduce himself or make much of any effort to engage with us. We felt like we had a taxi driver and little more. The instructions we received ahead of time for meeting him were clear and we found him pretty easily. He led us across the street and we started walking up the road. We followed in silence and after about 5 minutes of walking, he turned around and told us we were headed to the sloths, then chocolate factory, then rum factory, then beach. At this point I asked if there was going to be a car involved because nothing had even been mentioned about that. He said yes, turned around and we kept walking. At each stop, he basically walked us to the entrance and said I will be here when you when you are done. The stops weren't bad in themselves. The animal stop was not the main one everyone else from the ship went to. There was only one sloth at this location, but we also got to interact with monkeys and a parrot. The guide at that location was great even though it was a small area to visit. The chocolate factory we were taken to was a store with a fairly grumpy person to share about cocoa beans. You could see people making chocolate behind a glass, but no explanation was given. We were given samples of 4 chocolates and invited to shop. The handicraft store was awesome! We loved shopping there. When trying to get to a beach, the road was crazy muddy and he did not want to drive down it. He tried a second street, it was blocked by construction vehicles. Ultimately he went to an area with a gate and he paid for our entry there. Not sure why we didn't do that to start. The beach area was busy with shops and restaurants and other boating activities. He told us if we wanted to do any of the other activities to let him know and he would get a better deal. Lots of people were trying to get us to buy from them in the first 10 minutes, but things settled down after that and we had a nice time. We opted for just playing in the water. The day was not a bad day, but I wish we would have had a driver who was more communicative and engaging instead of someone who seemed annoyed to have us around. It was a very awkward day.
