Unforgettable and wonderful experience - A fantastic experience, a wonderful to have a typical boat Phinisi for ourselves, family of 5 adults. Our Guide, Roberto, Captain Agús and all the crew have made us a wonderful stay, facilitating everything, visits to Komodo, Padar to see the sunrise and the three beaches (of course, up to people), pink sand beach and snorkeling in several wonderful places, my daughter could see a blanket. We loved having the fun Alfi who was interning. And the meals have been delicious and abundant with fish, rice and vegetables in different varieties and preparations. Fully recommended.

Amazing private tour with FLORES fantastic tours - This is the second time that we went for a private boat tour for Komodo Islands with FLORES fantastic tours. The personal and their hospitability are amazing. They have a quick response and the tour is organized quite well. Happy to go with them again.

Awesome Experience! - We had a great time on the tour with family. The team was amazing and my family incl kids had a great time. The snorkelling and hiking experiences are out of this world. Seeing the Komodo dragon was also surreal. Roberto our guide was awesome as well. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful experience! - We did a 3 day 2night trip around the Komodo Islands and it was truly wonderful. The crew took great care of us and even changed the itinerary to take us home early as I was sick. The food they prepared was the best we had in Indonesia. The boat was simple but clean and looked after. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is the bathrooms which did not have enough water pressure for us to shower. This was ok for 2 nights but for longer trips would not be great. The activities were as promised on the itinerary on the website with some scheduling changes based on the wind etc and were truly spectacular to experience.

Fun and inspiring trip to the Komodo Islands - The views of sunrise and sunset are amazing. Learned a lot about Komodo dragons. The best part for us is the snorkeling - vibrant coral colony with hundreds of different kinds of fish and coral - different sizes, shapes and colors. The crew and guide are nice and friendly. Chef prepared different breakfast, lunch and dinner each of the four days. How he managed in that tiny kitchen was unbelievable!

Great with our crew - Cruising with the FFT was an overall unforgettable experience. We got another vessel than initially booked, a larger size and advertised as a luxury. However, you must note that it's essential to recalibrate expectations regarding accommodation standards, particularly for those accustomed to hotel-like amenities. On our ship there were three cabins. Two small (one with single and one with two-tier bed) and one double with a materace on the floor, albeit with minimalist bedding arrangements (just sheets and fleece blankets), The biggest drawback is that bathroom/ toilet is separate from bedrooms. In particular the double cabin on the upper deck presented a unique challenge due to its detached bathroom facilities. Navigating the ship's layout, especially at night when the vessel swayed, was less than ideal, compounded by the necessity of passing sleeping crew members stationed on the deck. Despite these logistical inconveniences, the highlight of our journey was undeniably the exceptional crew. It is important to know that the crew comprises primarily of freelancers and its composition varies from trip to trip, so you may get a different experience. Our crew, helmed by Captain Tojo, Chef Rahmad, and the exemplary guide Valdus, elevated our experience with unparalleled dedication and expertise. Valdus, in particular, stood out for his intuitive understanding of our preferences, crafting a bespoke itinerary that exceeded all expectations. His knowledge, attentiveness, and unobtrusive demeanor epitomized hospitality at its finest. Additionally, the presence of photographer Lee added an invaluable dimension to our voyage. Through his skilled lens, he immortalized our memories with stunning portraits, captivating drone shots, and poignant films, transforming our journey from ordinary to extraordinary. We had 4 days / 3 nights trip, giving 2 full days for visiting places. Day 1 and day 4 are cruising back and starting off and are half days only. It’s good to take it into account when booking. In conclusion, we can recommend cruising with FFT contingent upon an awareness of its onboard limitations and the possibility of experiencing the same exceptional crew we were fortunate to encounter. While the vessel may not offer comforts akin to a hotel, the dedication and expertise of the crew, coupled with the transformative power of expertly captured memories, make it a journey worth undertaking.

Marvelous Komodo NP - Great trip organised by Flores Fantastic Tours. Good communications throught booking process. Guide Faldus was communicative and helpful. Crew and food on Marvelous Phinisi were excellent. Some minor water pump issues on board which were sorted swiftly.

Dubious company - We booked the 3-day private tour with a luxury boat from Flores Fantastic Tours (Flores for short) via TripAdvisor. Shortly afterwards, Flores informed us that the booked boat was not available and offered us a direct booking for a luxury boat. After paying for the trip (shortly before the start of the tour) we were informed that there were problems with the booked boat. We replied that we had booked a luxury boat and would not accept an old, simple boat. Flores then sent us pictures of a new boat that looked quite reasonable. We set off on the trip and were bitterly disappointed. The boat was ancient and dirty, the cabin was very simple (no door - just a shed) and the ladder to the upper deck was broken and therefore unusable. The toilet flush stopped working the next day. The ship was already unmaneuverable on the first night. The only positive thing was the accompanying tour guide, who made our trip as good as possible with great snorkeling trips. We consider the Flores company to be absolutely dubious and can only advise against booking with this company.
