Bucket List Tour - This tour operator took care of us very well. There were several other operators running the same tour itinerary at the same time and this company made sure we were in & out of each location ahead of the groups making it a far better experience for our group by avoiding the crowds. The snorkeling was epic; beautiful coral teeming with sea life. We had very close encounters with sea turtles and manta rays. There were even about six whale sharks but we weren't lucky enough to get close to them. There were 4 tour guides with our group of about 12 trekkers. Given this one to three ratio they were over-top helpful. I highly recommend this bucket-list tour.

Completed my bucket list - We had a private one day trip around Komodo national park with Discovery Komodo Adventure. It was very impressive trip. There are very nice view point, amazing pink beach and good snorkeling points. We saw two komodos on the komodo island. Our guide is friendly and good explain. We were very happy with this trip.

An amazing day hiking and snorkeling - i was a little worried when i received an email telling me to be ready at 525 and driver showed up at 545 but any cocerns were quickly alleviated. This tour was a highlight of my 6 month trip. The first stop involved hiking up steps to a jaw dropping view. Then to Pink Beach for snorkeling with fish and colrful coral. Saw at least 5 komodo dragons and many manta rays. Lucky day as guide said there were no guarantees of seeing either. Guides and staff wete patient and kept a close eye on our group. of 15. At one point I got separated from group while snorkeling and guide and staff made sure iI was okay. A truly magical day with gides and staff in the know to avoid crowds and where wildlife may be. A must do even if you are like me and generally don't like snorkeling. I do now.

A memorable place and great rangko cave - We did a day tour with Discovery Komodo Adventure to Rangko Cave, meet some locals then went with my partner & 2 children to the caves. The pictures are everything you see & more !! We swam in the cave for about 1 hour (7yr old & 5yr old included), then explored the beaches & coral gardens for fish & corals.

Things need to change and be improved for better customer care! - OK - so this is no fault of the local booking operator - Discovery Komodo Adventure was who we paid. BUT, as there are so many operators in Flores - Labuan Bajo to Komodo and Padar etc then everyone gets boxed together and that's when the problems started. Everyone turns up to a spot and you check your name off. ALL of these tourists have booked thru varying agencies - everyone had paid a diff price, got a different itinerary and thus expecting different service. I have no idea who the local operator was or who the guide was working for. We had all been given different order of sites, we had booked a trip with 4 sites (as we wanted more time at the better ones and didn't want the boring ones) but others had picked 6 sites and time allocations were all different. So when shopping here online - they're all the same if a gp tour. So even star rating is all the same as they all use the same operator. Pink Beach - was really a waste of time. Small beach, little pink colour and a lot of boats amongst the snorkellers. I had to stand up and wave and yell at a boat that was heading our way - i and other tourists were in the correct place for water activities - not the big boats! Padar, Komodo and Taka Makassar were fine. The Manta Rays were fabulous and an excellent stop. Lunch was great, service and drinks - all fine! The last stop was Kanawa Island - too busy, too many novice snorkellers. Crowded, misunderstandings between a multitude of boats and how visitors were meant to access water and get out. People were feeding fish their lunch and biscuits, people standing on the coral. Then we were about to leave, and we had to yell to the captain to stop the boat as 2 of our visitors were still out swimming. No head count. Then we realised another boat had left people behind so we had to collect their people up also. Then another boat did a 360' in the water and they had to quickly power down the motors as it was close to swimmers. A COMPLETE SHAMBLES - something needs to change - better communication and instructions + head counts at all locations. MY suggestion would be to rotate the 4-6 activities between all the providers and not at the same time. Gp 1 @ Padar Island, Gp 2 start at Komodo, Gp 3 start at Kanawa etc - less hectic and better organisation before someone gets left behind or killed by average boat operators.
