Preparation - Kelor Island - Manjarite - Kalong Rinca
Kelor Island - Begin your adventure at Kelor Island, a charming, uninhabited island featuring a hill approximately 100 meters high. Visitors will be transported to Kelor Island by motorboat. The view from the hilltop is breathtaking, with the blue sky, the earthy tones of Flores Island, and the stunning sea color gradations providing a perfect backdrop for photos. Guests can also enjoy swimming or savor a coconut here.
Manjarite Beach - After exploring Kelor Island, the next stop is Manjarite. Lunch will be served on the boat, allowing guests to enjoy the sea breeze while dining as the boat gently sails towards Manjarite. Upon arrival, visitors can swim or snorkel to experience the vibrant underwater world. The marine life is diverse, with abundant coral reefs. The clear waters, colorful coral, and thousands of fish create a spectacular start to the exploration of Komodo National Park.
Rinca - The first day’s final destination is the Rinca bats. As the name suggests, this location offers a mesmerizing view at dusk as the sun sets and thousands of large bats fly overhead, moving between islands in search of food. This unique sight is a memorable experience, marking the end of the day’s adventure before the ship finds a sheltered spot to anchor for the night. Dinner will be served shortly after sunset.
Padar Island - Long Beach - Komodo Island - Manta Point - Taka Makasar
Padar Island - After a restful night on the boat, guests will be awakened in the morning and invited to climb to the top of Padar Island. The path is quite accessible, with stone stairs leading to the summit. Upon reaching the top, visitors can enjoy the stunning view of the vast ocean against the morning sky. The fresh air and the distinct beach colors on Padar Island’s three sides make for a beautiful photo backdrop. This magnificent view is a perfect start to the day’s journey. After enjoying Padar Island’s natural beauty, breakfast will be prepared on the boat, with coffee and snacks to delight guests.
Pink Beach - The next stop is Long Beach, also known as Labuan Bajo Pink Beach. This is the longest beach in Labuan Bajo, featuring unique sand that appears pink from a distance due to red coral fragments eroded by waves. At Pink Beach, guests can swim with fish, snorkel, or simply relax on the sand. Enjoying a fresh coconut here is a refreshing treat.
Komodo Island - The journey continues to Komodo Island, the natural habitat of the ancient Komodo dragons. These large lizards can grow over 4 meters long. Upon arrival, rangers will guide visitors to observe the Komodo dragons in their natural environment. It’s important to follow the rangers’ instructions and stay with the group, maintaining a safe distance when taking photos. After exploring Komodo Island, guests will return to the Pinisi ship and proceed to Manta Point.
Manta Point - Manta Point is a gathering spot for manta rays. The boat will stop near the manta rays, and guests will be invited to swim and get close to these majestic creatures. A guide will capture videos and photos using an underwater camera. With luck, guests might share the frame with several manta rays. The water here is crystal clear, offering a remarkable view of the manta rays and other fish swimming nearby. This unforgettable experience is a highlight of the Komodo National Park exploration.
Taka Makassar Island - After swimming with manta rays, the final destination of the day is Taka Makasar. This island, shaped by wave erosion, features a mound of white sand. Activities here include swimming, playing in the sand, enjoying the sunset, and snorkeling. The coral reefs are exceptional, though the afternoon currents require extra energy. After appreciating Taka Makasar’s natural beauty, guests will board the Pinisi ship for a sunset party.
Siaba - Labuan Bajo
Pulau Siaba Besar - The trip concludes at Siaba Island, an uninhabited island in Komodo National Park with a pier and wooden bridge. The ship will dock near the island in the morning, allowing guests to enjoy the sea view and beach atmosphere. Swimming with thousands of colorful fish is an extraordinary morning activity. The clear, fresh sea water offers a chance to witness the natural wealth of the Komodo Islands. Afterward, guests can enjoy morning snacks and breakfast on the ship as it sails towards Labuan Bajo. The ship will arrive at the pier around 11:00 AM, allowing guests to head directly to the airport for a 1:00 PM or later flight, or to a hotel if staying in Labuan Bajo.
