Review (2024-08-02): Epic summer adventure - Great day! Ended up being 50 passengers, not the 36 as stated in description. Big boat and fast. The stops were epic. Did not like that they switched itinerary and we only had 45 min on Pink beach, would have preferred to have lunch on Pink Beach. Would definitely book again. Amazing underwater sea life. We saw a manta ray swimming, it was incredible. So many fish, coral, etc. Padar island was incredible. 40 min hike up for epic views. Wear sneakers and bring flip flops for beach. Bring snacks as it’s a long day!

Review (2024-08-28): Wonderful Komodo Experience - I booked the trip with FFT back in March - it was a family with myself, my wife and our two girls aged 12 and 14. We hired a private boat. Golda our tour guide was there to pick us up from the hotel on time at 07:30. It was short drive to the pier where we boarded our boat. The first stop on the trip was about 1 hour away at Flores island where we took the hike up the mountain. It wasn’t the easiest hike but was a lot of fun and we got to see some amazing views of the island.
A Symphony of Nature: The Allure of Komodo’s Marine Life
The waters surrounding Komodo Island are teeming with life, offering a vibrant underwater world just waiting to be explored. Whether you’re an experienced diver or a novice snorkeler, the marine life here is sure to captivate your senses. At Manta Point, you’ll have the chance to swim alongside graceful manta rays, their elegant movements a mesmerizing sight. The coral reefs at Taka Makassar and Kanawa Island are home to a dazzling array of fish, turtles, and other sea creatures, making every snorkeling session an adventure in itself. The high UV index during this time of year means the sunlight penetrates the water, illuminating the vibrant colors of the coral and marine life below.

The conservation efforts in the region are crucial to preserving this natural wonder for future generations. By choosing eco-friendly tours and respecting the local environment, you can play a part in ensuring that Komodo’s marine life continues to thrive.
Review (2024-07-07): Excellent One-Day Private Tour - I just returned from Indonesia where my activities included a visit to Komodo National Park. I decided to go with Flores Fantastic tours after reading many positive reviews, in addition to the itineraries they offered. I went with the one-day private trip, which was perfect for me. The itinerary included stops at Padar Island, Pink Beach, Komodo Island, Manta Point, Takka Makassar, and finally, Kanawa. The itinerary was executed exactly as stated - and included lunch. My guide was Valdus, who hiked up Padar with me, and accompanied me on every stop. He was informative, friendly, and always more than willing to take pictures when I asked. The captain and deckhand on the ship were also attentive and friendly. The tour was a full day, and I was picked up, and dropped off right at the jetty to my hotel (Plataran Komodo). From start to finish, professional, on-time, flexible (since I was solo), and courteous. I had an excellent experience with this tour company, and hope to return to Indonesia, where I would not hesitate to work with Flores Fantastic again. Highly recommend. *
