Insightful Tour of Birningham - Tour was great! Various stops with great information. The stop at the local Pub was very delightful, great ciders on tap! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Birmingham.

So Much Better than a Wikipedia Entry! - Terrible weather, but the tour was fun and engaging! Plus, the guide was kind enough to use his umbrella to keep me dry. You couldn’t ask for a better overview of the gangs made famous in the TV show, “Peaky Blinders.” Much of the filming for the show happened elsewhere as Birmingham continues to renew and replace landmarks. This tour helps distinguish fact from fiction, and the guide is lively and knowledgeable. I genuinely enjoyed the two hours. I teased the guide that he was so much more interesting than the Wikipedia page on this era in Birmingham’s history. What better praise can you ask for than to be benchmarked against an encyclopedia and come out ahead! Well worth the time, and great value for the money.

Fabulous!!! - Really informative host. Funny and engaging. Allowed us to ask a lot of (probably) silly questions that were answered and allowed more information to flow. Passionate about the history and knowledge really personal due to family ties. Weird to have a host with an American accent but he knows his stuff!! Have to say that it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Would recommend without question. A fun filled informative walk around a truly beautiful city with a lot to offer - certainly the highlight of our day trip. Thank you Mr Shelby!! Loved it!!!

Light on content - It was ok…light on content. More detail on the social history of Birmingham would have made it more interesting.
