Superb - The experience was exactly what one can expect from a day tour, a nice and funny guide, a reliable and friendly driver, a comfortable coach, and enough information about the places of interest. They also added a fun quiz on the way back with prizes, which was a lovely touch. I was very happy with this experience and would highly recommend it.

Great customer care - Long story short: amazing! Long story long: Ours was an unusual experience but I love the way the company handled things. Approximately 90 minutes after we set off from Birmingham we had a flat tire. We had to stop at the nearest gas station and wait for the repair guys to come and fix it. We didn’t know how much time it was going to take, and we were on schedule - entrance to the stones and some people (us, for example) had bought tickets to the Roman Baths museum with a fixed time slot for entrance. While we were waiting, the guide and the driver bought us all doughnuts and assured us everything will be alright. It took 2 hours for the repair crew to come and fix it, and we thought at some point we would have to cancel and go back to Birmingham. But no, we made it to the stones, and to Bath, although we had less time in Bath and it was closing time for many places - like the abbey and cafes on the bridge. Still, we had a nice walk and overall good time. I love how we were comped by the tour company: they reimbursed our Roman Baths tickets, refunded part of the tour AND gave us a free trip to Cotswolds with them for any date of our choosing - this is amazing! ALSO at the end of the trip there was a quiz with questions about the places we visited, I won a Stonehenge magnet. Yay :) Overall, amazing experience, great customer service, Anna, the guide, is very sweet, approachable, and a good organizer - she had candies for us, Stonehenge leaflets to peruse, and gave us lots of interesting info on the locations. I imagine things like a flat tire happen rarely but be sure that the company will handle any issues with customers in mind. I highly recommend this tour and Perlyny Tours to anyone!

Friendly and good tour, needs some tweaking - Would have been nice to be warned to pack a lunch, to eat on the bus between sites, as finding a restaurant and eating took away from time site seeing. The guide was ok, she was nice and friendly, but at Stonehenge she could have used the flag to lead us to the shuttle., which was flooded by other tours which pushed us aside, making it harder to board the shuttle. It was hard sometimes to understand her accent.

Good tour with a room for improvment - Overall, the tour was good and well-planned. We started it on time (with a slight 5-7 min delay while waiting for all tour members), got to all destinations on time, and returned to Birmingham exactly as stated in the tour details. However, I have a suggestion for our tour guide, Olga. It would be better to share information about the destination more as a story, talking to tour participants rather than reading everything from printed materials.

An overall good experience - The tour is well organized and our guide Olga was very friendly. Everything was on time and directions were clearly explained. Only problem we faced was the air conditioner. The temperature inside the van showed 33° C which was too hot for an already warm and sunny day.

Excellent trip if you have a few days to spend in Birmingham. - It’s a lovely trip, especially with beautiful weather. Do make sure to book the Roman baths in advance. Regarding Stonehenge, you have enough time to enjoy the place and (depending on the time) walk bit instead of taking the shuttle bus. I can highly recommend this trip!

Great places to visit, not very engaging way to present information. - The places we visited were amazing! However, I did not find that the guide provided information very well. On the trip to Stonehenge, the guide sat at the front of the bus and read from a book about Stonehenge which was not a very easy or engaging way to learn. It was very difficult to understand her and because the information was not being presented in an interesting way, I didn't really get much out of it. Once we got to Stonehenge, our guide gave us our wristbands and then said "alright you all go ahead and take a look!" and just left us. So again, an opportunity to share information and guide us through the experience wasn't there. We tried to eavesdrop on other tours to get more information because we were just left to try and figure it out on our own. When we went back into the bus, the guide read from a piece of paper again about the history of Bath. Again, it was really difficult to understand and it was one of the worst ways to communicate information. If you're just reading from a piece of paper, it is not worth going on a guided tour. For the three of us, it would have been less expensive to rent a car and go on Google to read about it. In Bath, the guide was great and took us on a walking tour and provided historical context. We had time to explore which was awesome. Overall, the tour guide was really nice and when we asked questions they were great at answering them, but the way information was presented wasn't effective and in my opinion, wasn't worth the price.
