Snorkelling trip of the Gili Islands - We booked directly with Dananjaya for a private snorkelling tour of the Gili islands. Communication over WhatsApp was great and our driver, Abdul picked us up from our hotel on time at 7am. He came on the boat with us along with the captain and another guy who got in the water and took photos / videos of us which he transferred to us at the end of the tour. We went to 4 snorkelling spots around Gili Meno and Gili Air, including the underwater statue, turtle area and blue coral area. We had some free time on Gili T and had lunch and a swim on Gili Air before heading back. The tour ended up being half a day as opposed to the 10 hours but we had seen everything we wanted to. We had a great time and would recommend to others for their sightseeing itinerary.

Great tour - Great tour with so many different places and activities! Was able to select where I’d like to visit and what kind of tour, my driver Asier was awesome - so knowledgeable and helped make a great itinerary and experience!!

Highly recommended - Our private customised trip included the monkey jungle, beautiful waterfalls and traditional Lombok villages.
Our driver, Santana, was prompt, friendly, spoke English very well, and generous (even lending us cash so we could see the waterfalls which we didn't realise had fees)
Overall, we had a great day exploring Lombok and really enjoyed our experience. Highly recommend

Fantastic tour of North Lombok with a great guide - We booked directly with Dananjaya at Explores Bali & Lombok (+62 821-1586-3957), he was really helpful and gave us a great price at $110 which included a full day trip of 10+ hours, all tickets, guides, donation to the Sasak village and lunch are included. We visited the ‘Rice Terrace’ viewing point, Sendang Gile & Tiu Kelep waterfalls and a traditional Sasak village. This price worked out much cheaper than alternatives we were quoted.
Our driver and guide (and photographer) Julian was very informative and helpful. When we expressed interest in having some local food and coffee (not included in the tour), he went out of his way to accommodate (I highly recommend you do this and try the Fish satay - Ilan Sate and the Tahu Issy - fried tofu with rice noodles). He even stopped so we could watch a traditional ceremony.
While the tour may be more than what is quoted by taxi drivers when you arrive in Lombok, Julian’s fantastic English, photography skills and local insights are worth the money. All in all, we had a great day out exploring North Lombok - if you are thinking of doing this route yourself, the roads are very steep and treacherous around Mt. Rinjani and having a driver is a must (for people like us who are not confident on scooters).

Fantastic tour - Sami was our driver and from the minute I got off the ship and saw him holding up a sign with my name on it, I knew we were in for a great day. Sami has a great smile and a wonderful attitude. We didn’t have much time in port as but he took us to some temples and a mosque along with beautiful stop to watch the sunset. I felt as though we saw a lot considering the short time we had. He gave us history and facts about the Lombok area and answered all our questions. This was a great tour and I would definitely recommend for anyone coming to Lombok on a cruise ship.

Wonderful tour - We worked with provider in advance to plan itinerary, and we were able to do everything we wanted and had a little extra time to visit 2 beaches. Driver was excellent and provided useful information. Could not have asked for a better tour.

Lombok pte tour - The lombok vacations that was the tour operator did not coordinate the timing well to the driver. Our pte tour for 10 hours starts from 8.30 am as comfirmed in wats app message to me but the driver came late, 9 am, which was the time given to him in his handphone wats app message. I called the contact number but no reply. As I aspected it was a business number and they did not take calls till later. I had prior to the holiday requested for the driver's name and contact but was not given.My other tours with viator more than often would provide driver's name and contact and the driver would contact me ahead of the tour.
For this tour,the driver/guide ,Agus was good as he tailored the tour to suit us. He brought us for a very good lunch at hill top.

Lombok, full day - Visit to the market, waterfalls, Sasak town, all day by car. No big deal. Not many explanations. A little expensive considering that later the tickets to things are paid separately.
