- Horseshoe Bay Public Dock - Located within the Howe Sound UNESCO biosphere reserve, this area is teeming with marine wildlife such as seals, sea lions, porpoises, whales, and a variety of seabirds. This adventure allows guests to observe these incredible creatures in their natural environment without causing any disturbance.
The tour takes guests through stunning landscapes featuring rugged coastlines, lush forests, and majestic mountains. Visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the surrounding scenery and capture breathtaking photos. Seals, known for their friendly nature, often interact with humans in the water and may approach snorkelers out of curiosity. For those who prefer to stay dry, kayaks are available on board, offering a chance to enjoy the magnificent views and wildlife.
Recognizing that comfort levels vary, kayaking is offered as an excellent alternative or complement to snorkeling during the summer months (May to September). In the cooler fall (October–November) and spring (March–April) seasons, kayaking is the sole activity available, as the water temperatures are less conducive to snorkeling.
