- Vancouver - Snorkel while observing Vancouver’s resident harbour seals during this 5-hour adventure boat tour! Board our boat from Horseshoe Bay with your adventure guide, where we’ll take you by boat to the local seal colony. Slip into the provided snorkel gear and wetsuit, then dive in for an up-close experience with seals, following their lead! Snorkel around the bay and the rocks, experiencing the marine environment while in a 40ft customized vessel. A sightseeing-only option is available for those passengers who wish to stay dry on the boat. All snorkeling equipment, refreshments, and light snacks are included.
Please note this tour is created for sightseeing only, we do not encourage interaction with the seals. However, seals all have unique personalities and some may swim right up to you to have a closer look! In these events we encourage all adventurers to simply stay still and let the seal do it’s thing. All snorkelers must agree and abide to our marine protection guidelines before entering the water.

Experience the authentic West Coast on our Snorkel Adventure, just a short distance from Vancouver, during this thrilling 5-hour expedition. Dive into the beautiful waters of Howe Sound for a snorkeling session, followed by a visit to Pam Rocks to see the charming seal colony. If you’re up for it, put on a wet suit and snorkeling gear for a swim in the ocean. If you’d rather keep dry, there’s a ‘just sightseeing’ choice as well. Snorkeling gear, light bites, and refreshments are all provided.
- Please note: There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there are not enough passengers to meet requirements. ‘Sightseeing Only’ option cannot operate without enough divers or snorkelers.
- Guests must be able to swim
- Guest weights, heights, and shoe size must be shared with staff at time of booking.
- Trip operates in all weather conditions, please dress appropriately. If canceled due to poor weather, an alternative date will be suggested.
- Children must be accompanied by parent or guardian
- Children under 19 must have waiver signed by parent or guardian

Stunning experience in the fjord❤️ - This was such an amazing time. Wish we had gotten to see more seals and wildlife but still was absolutely the best. Our crew was patient and kind. They also had safety at the top of mind. I, one hundred percent, would recommend this tour. I had two older teens, my self and another adult and they all give a 10/10 as well.

Face to Face with the puppies of the sea! - This was really an amazing experience! The whole tour was fantastic. Sea Dragon provided all the gear we needed, the boat was clean, comfortable and stocked with hot soup and snacks for when we got out of the water. But the real prize was getting up close and personal with the seals! They are so curious and come right up to you. Sharing their native habitat with them was really special. They sniffed in my hands like they were looking for treats and look you straight in the face, it was such a unique and one of a kind experience! The traditional jump off the boat in the end was a ton of fun... even at almost 40 I was hucking back flips with the cannonballing kids. 10/10 recommend this tour. The crew was awesome - couldn't have asked for a better trip!

Lots of cute seals - Outstanding excursion. Staff was kind, patient and knowledgeable. We saw dozens of adorable seals - even some before we left the dock. I would absolutely do this again.

Once in a lifetime experience - All the crew were so helpful and friendly, we managed to get so close to the seals and one even came up and nosed the pool noodle I was floating with. Then it rested it’s head on the noodle and got so close to me, what a once in a lifetime experience! The crew provided soup and hot chocolate and crisps as snacks on board and to keep us warm, Emily took some amazing photos of these experiences, so we could just be in the moment and not worry about having to get great pictures ourselves, 1000000/10!

Amazing experience! - This was a phenomenal tour. The guides were great, we saw so many seals and they got so close! The boat guides gave us soup, chips and hot chocolate to keep us full and warm! I would highly recommend this. So much fun in such a beautiful place

Such a cool experience! - Let me start out by saying I am so glad that we did this tour! That being said, it was still freezing in the water even with the wetsuits. Perhaps others are better able to handle the cold, but being from Florida, my kids didn't want to get in the water and didn't enjoy themselves as much due to the cold (no fault of the tour of course, just sharing for others to make sure its the right fit for them). We didn't really need the mask and snorkel as you really just bob in the water and watch the seals from the surface. They don't swim close and are actually easier to see while on the land. We had two with Gluten sensitivities and I checked with them ahead of time and they made sure to make the soup that was GF. We then got to choose to either kayak, paddleboard, snorkel again, or stay on the boat. This provided more opportunities to explore and see the seals, sea stars, and other wildlife.

Once in a Lifetime Experience - This was an amazing experience, my favorite tour I've ever done. The crew is very well organized and kind, we felt very safe the entire trip. Some of the seals are particularly curious and will come up close to look at you, it also just very fun being in the ocean snorkeling. Can't recommend this enough.

Great experience! - The staff are nice, the experience is great! the seals are close to us:) For kayaking, I was a bit slow, thus miss the information part :( The staff provides mushroom soup and chips for us, and I was a bit seasick and threw up on the ship. Sorry for that:(
But Captain didn’t get angry and still say something nice to me🥺
