Highlights
  • Lamar Valley - Lamar Valley, often called “the Serengeti of North America,” is situated in the northeastern part of Yellowstone National Park. It’s renowned for its stunning scenery, diverse flora and fauna, and rich wildlife. Our safari includes multiple stops here to observe wildlife, with your guide providing insights into its historical and geological importance.
  • Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone - This canyon ranges from 800 to 1,200 feet in depth and 1,500 to 4,000 feet in width. Marvel at the breathtaking view of the Yellowstone River as it roars through the canyon and cascades down a 308-foot waterfall.
  • Slough Creek - A tributary of the Lamar River, Slough Creek originates in the Absaroka Range and supports a wide variety of plant and animal life. Our wildlife safari makes several stops in the Slough Creek area to track and observe wildlife, with your guide sharing its historical and geological significance.
  • Tower Fall - Located in the northeastern section of the Upper Loop near Tower Junction, this waterfall features a 132-foot drop. The unique rock columns north of the fall, known as columnar basalt, were formed by cooling lava.
  • Mammoth Hot Springs - Situated at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park near Gardiner, MT, Mammoth Hot Springs is famous for its thermal features and travertine terraces formed by mineral deposits. The algae in the pools give the terraces their distinctive brownish and reddish hues.
  • Gibbon Falls - Gibbon Falls features an 84-foot drop of the Gibbon River along the edge of the Yellowstone caldera.
  • Norris Geyser Basin - Take an incredible walk through Yellowstone’s most geothermally active area. Here, you can witness the renowned Steamboat Geyser and the Porcelain Basin Hot Springs. The area offers various trails ranging from 0.2 miles to 3 miles.
  • Undine Falls - This easily accessible waterfall is a must-see three-tiered cascade. Originally called the “Cascade Falls of the East Gardiner,” it was renamed Undine by geologist Arnold Hague after the wise, female water spirit from German mythology who was believed to inhabit waterfalls and could gain souls by marrying mortal men. Sound familiar? Think Little Mermaid.
  • Mount Washburn - We have several favorite pull-offs around Mount Washburn that are prime spots for wildlife viewing. Enjoy the expertise of your professional guide as they help you spot animals using binoculars and spotting scopes.

Fun and enlightening with a lot of wildlife - Clara was awesome! We wanted to focus on wildlife and she took us around the upper loop and well into the Lamar Valley. We saw big horn sheep, river otters, pronghorn antelope, many many bison, mule deer, elk, and a black bear. Her keen eyes found sandhill cranes on the way out. she was friendly and helped us set up the rest of our week. We really enjoyed her company and she is an excellent guide.

Beyond Imagination - I can’t imagine a more thorough introduction to Yellowstone National Park’s wildlife, waterfalls, geothermal features, landscape and geology. Jake was the quintessential guide- professional, knowledgeable, patient, and an excellent communicator. His knowledge of the park and its possibilities comes from a deep connection and dedicated observation.. We got our money’s worth within the first hour and it only got better from there. This experience was more than we could have imagined and beyond.

Yellowstone Safari Tour Was Amazing - Rae Rediske was an amazing guide for our Yellowstone Safari Tour. She took our group through the Northern Loop of Yellowstone and showed us wildlife, waterfalls, and beautiful vistas. We definitely said it was money well spent and there was no way we would have experienced this level of learning about Yellowstone on our own without the tour. Thank you Rae!

Fantastic Tour! - We decided to book a private tour of the upper loop and Lisa was our guide. She was very informative and personable and picked us up promptly! Every aspect of this tour was exceptional, from her facts and stories to the outstanding views as well as her scopes and picture taking skills. We were thrilled to see the wildlife as well as the beautiful scenery of the park and we know we would never have discovered all of the things we were shown today by Lisa! If you are visiting the area, don’t hesitate to take the time and book an upper loop tour! Fantastic memories were made.

A definite must do! - Tin and Jake were amazing! We highly enjoyed our trip and they tailored the trip to what we wanted to see. While you cannot guarantee wildlife, they slower able to show us many of the animals on our bucket list that we never would have seen on our own (or known what we were seeing).
