Highlights
  • Lamar Valley - Lamar Valley, often called “the Serengeti of North America,” is situated in the northeastern part of Yellowstone National Park. It’s renowned for its stunning scenery, diverse flora and fauna, and rich wildlife. Our safari includes multiple stops here to observe wildlife, with your guide providing insights into its historical and geological importance.
  • Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone - This canyon ranges from 800 to 1,200 feet in depth and 1,500 to 4,000 feet in width. Marvel at the breathtaking view of the Yellowstone River as it roars through the canyon and cascades down a 308-foot waterfall.
  • Slough Creek - A tributary of the Lamar River, Slough Creek originates in the Absaroka Range and supports a wide variety of plant and animal life. Our wildlife safari makes several stops in the Slough Creek area to track and observe wildlife, with your guide sharing its historical and geological significance.
  • Tower Fall - Located in the northeastern section of the Upper Loop near Tower Junction, this waterfall features a 132-foot drop. The unique rock columns north of the fall, known as columnar basalt, were formed by cooling lava.
  • Mammoth Hot Springs - Situated at the north entrance of Yellowstone National Park near Gardiner, MT, Mammoth Hot Springs is famous for its thermal features and travertine terraces formed by mineral deposits. The algae in the pools give the terraces their distinctive brownish and reddish hues.
  • Gibbon Falls - Gibbon Falls features an 84-foot drop of the Gibbon River along the edge of the Yellowstone caldera.
  • Norris Geyser Basin - Take an incredible walk through Yellowstone’s most geothermally active area. Here, you can witness the renowned Steamboat Geyser and the Porcelain Basin Hot Springs. The area offers various trails ranging from 0.2 miles to 3 miles.
  • Undine Falls - This easily accessible waterfall is a must-see three-tiered cascade. Originally called the “Cascade Falls of the East Gardiner,” it was renamed Undine by geologist Arnold Hague after the wise, female water spirit from German mythology who was believed to inhabit waterfalls and could gain souls by marrying mortal men. Sound familiar? Think Little Mermaid.
  • Mount Washburn - We have several favorite pull-offs around Mount Washburn that are prime spots for wildlife viewing. Enjoy the expertise of your professional guide as they help you spot animals using binoculars and spotting scopes.

Incredible Yellowstone Tour - Lisa is an amazing tour guide. She put thought into planning our trip, ensured we were able to see all of the high points of Yellowstone, navigated our eyes to incredible wildlife, and checked in on us frequently while driving through the park to ensure comfort, safety, and happiness.

Yellowstone Upper Loop Tour from West Yellowstone with Lunch - We had a wonderful full-day private tour of the Upper Loop of Yellowstone with Tin! We told her that we were interested in seeing wildlife and waterfalls, and she did not disappoint! This tour was the highlight of our vacation. Tin provided excellent insight into the geological and thermal history of the park, so much so that she had our 13 year-old son interested and asking questions. She also got us in position to see more wildlife on the tour than we ever imagined, I think our final count was 11 bears, 2 wolves, 2 coyotes, numerous elk and pronghorn, and several mothers and kid mountain goats. We saw 1 bear stalking a large group of elk until they outran it. We saw a couple of mama bears with cubs. Tin setup a delicious lunch for us as we watched 3 apparently satiated wolves resting in the same area with bison that they seemed to have no interest in pursuing. It was an amazing experience, sitting in the Lamar Valley at a table eating lunch overlooking bison and wolves. Thanks for an amazing day Tin!

Yellowstone Tour with Family- Highly Recommend!!! - Yellowstone is so beautiful, yet it can be really overwhelming. We decided to do the Lower Loop on our own using the map and hit all of the major spots. For the Upper Loop we hired Lisa with Sky’s The Limit Tours and we are so happy we did. She had so much knowledge of the park and told so many interesting stories. She played games with my kids in the car having to do with Yellowstone and the wildlife that live there. We had a picnic in a beautiful spot and she made a wonderful lunch. She brought binoculars and a telescope so the kids could see all the Bison. She listens to you and caters the day to what you would enjoy most. We left with wonderful pictures and a new love of Yellowstone!

Sky's the Limit Tours through Yellowstone - This was an all inclusive trip through Yellowstone's Upper Loop. We were picked up at our location and sat in a comfortable air conditioned vehicle for our tour. This was my first visit to the park and I must say I enjoyed every minute of it! Our guide gave detailed information throughout the day on each location we were taken to and had patience (I am no spring chicken) if I lagged behind on occasion. We walked the path to view the Grand Prismatic Springs and then on to the Mud Pots . Lunch was provided at a picnic spot and the kids had a chance to play. This tour was not rushed through thankfully because there is so much to see. Binoculars were provided for all of us and used at our leisure. I highly recommend Sky's the Limit Tours!!

Best tour ever! - This tour far exceeded our expectations! It is a true wildlife safari. We saw hundreds of bison, plus lots of elk and pronghorn. The highlight was definitely spotting a grizzly bear and getting to see it in full definition with the spotting scope! Having a picnic in the Lamar Valley with a huge herd of bison doing their rutting rituals was quite the cherry on top of a great day! Mammoth Hot Springs was really interesting to see and we loved all of the waterfalls, lakes, and rivers we saw throughout the day. Tin was full of fun facts about the area, plants, and wildlife. 10/10 recommend

Best Tour Ever! Tin was AMAZING! - Fantastic Experience! Not only did we see almost every animal to see in Yellowstone - Buffalo, Foxes, and my favorite, the majestic Bald Eagle (+ more) Tin, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable - our group learned so much about the geological and animal magic of Yellowstone! Highly recommend Tin as your guide. My best friend Julia is gluten free and I am dairy free - we were so grateful our food options met our dietary restrictions!
