An outstanding day in an outstandingly beautiful location - Our guide Ian is very knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of the Cape Range and provided us with an excellent introduction to the region. We were looking for a chance to walk off the beaten track and get to see some of the elusive wildlife and he really delivered. We didn't walk a huge distance as it was very hot but we saw and learned a great deal,. As well as supplying the equipment we needed Ian also provided snacks, drinks and lunch. Sitting in the comfort of a trekking chair under the shade of a tree with a magnificent view was an unforgettable moment. All this with the added bonus of a kangaroo hopping by on the cliffs opposite. We finished the day with a refreshing swim in Sandy Bay and a diversion to the lighthouse lookout at Vlamingh Head, with whales visible below, A great experience.

10/10 would do again - Ian was a phemononal tour guide. So knowledgeable about the area and you could tell he was doing this not because he took on a job as a tour guide but because he really loves doing it. He was really interested in the people on his tour and invested in conversation getting to know us throughout. He also didn't mind when I fell asleep on the car ride home (oops) and offered all the required equipment. We were in safe hands with Ian and never felt at all concerned about the heat, getting lost, etc. Wearing trainers is fine but I underestimated how spikey some of the flora would be so use walking boots or leather trainers if you can (I didn't feel like I needed anything more to support my feet other than trainers, its just the spikey grass). As for the activity itself, if you're looking to emerse yourself in the area then this is a must. Such a beautiful place. Lunch was tasty and filling and had a fabulous view from one of Ian's secret hideaway areas tucked within the national park. Ian's eyes are like that of a hawk when spotting animals so we saw so much flora and fauna in its natural habitat and got all the info about them. As someone in their late 20s who does little exercise, it got a little tiring at the end, but was well worth it. As a pale person from the UK, suncream is definitely required. The heat without wind glares off the ground and really beats down on you as there is no shade anywhere. Didn't burn though and Ian will go at your pace and stop whenever you need water or a suncream top up. The dip in the sea afterwards was a delight and we had our first encounter with the local reef fish here. This was the first proper day of our holiday, and our anniversary and what a fantastic introduction to Ningaloo it was. Thank you Ian!

An amazing experience to add value to everything else the Ningaloo Coast offers - Ian is very knowledgeable and adds much understanding of the range and the reef. Apart from that, he is a really nice guy who has taken numerous walks and observations to make sure he offers his clients the best possible experience of the range and its significance. If for no other reasons, take his one-day walk to lunch under the endemic Kurrajong tree, overlooking the back of Yardey Creek. So beautiful!

Spectacular One Day Trek - Ian was an outstanding tour guide. His knowledge of the flora and fauna in the area is second to none. He is fully prepared for any situation (we had a shoe blowout that needed running repairs!) took to great vantage points for breaks (with him carrying snacks and water!) With being a small group, he even took us on an extended trek for our 1 day hike (we clocked up nearly 14kms!) We can’t recommend Ian highly enough to anyone visiting the area. Look forward to returning and doing a 2 day trek!

A unique perspective of Ningaloo - Had the best day out on our 1 day hike with guide Erin. It truly is a unique experience to be able to trek along the Cape Range. Erin made us feel so welcomed. The walk was not rushed and felt we had plenty of time to explore, taking in the breathtaking views of the Ningaloo coastline and diverse wilderness. Erin your knowledge of the area, fun facts on the local flora and fauna and friendly hospitality made our day so special. Highly recommended this tour

What an amazing, unique experience! - This was an amazing, unique experience. Ian is an awesome guide sharing his knowledge and passion for the Cape Range. We would not have had the confidence to explore this wilderness without a guide and Trek Ningaloo kitted us out with the necessary gear and took us to places that few people get to explore. The history, scenery and geology of this part of the world is amazing and Ian really brought that to life for us.

A true highlight with terrific guide. Do it! - After 7 days in Exmouth we declared this was our highlight. The 6 hour trek was manageable and you were provided with the necessary kit of sticks, gaiters and chairs. Ian our guide was brilliant and it would not have been the same experience without him. He did a superb job looking after weaker group members throughout. Bravo Ian Bravo! The dip at the jawdroppingly stunning Sandy Bay was the perfect end to a marvellous day. Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.
