A visit to remember - I adopted a fairy penguin for my daughter in December and myself and my daughter went to visit today. Prior to the visit I had been liaising with the lovely Teresa who could not have done anymore to make my daughters visit so special. To see her name as an adoptee and her penguins name was a moment I will never forget. Unfortunately the said penguin was in its nesting box and so we only caught a small glimpse of him and so we will be back in a month or so to see if we can see him properly. Just a massive thank you to Teresa for all your help and special touches xx

Nice day out. - It was such a chilli day being early January, but I chose this day to fully explore the Sealife Center as I hoped if would be quiet (one of my children struggles with busy places). We were not disappointed, the staff were lovely and we had a great few hours there. Pizza was also great.

Lovely day out! - We loved this Sealife Centre! We've done a few, Blackpool being the mist recent one before Weymouth, and this was by far the best. Firstly the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable, especially the lady on the front desk checking you in. Secondly we saw so many different species that we've never seen before, it was lovely to see new creatures, especially the sea dragons! There were also seals which were fab! Plus the 2 different species of penguins which you never usually get. All the sections were numbered so you then knew you hadn't missed anything and also it was really well laid out, great tanks with clean, clear views. A couple of things were shut but that's to be expected out of season as they have to do maintenance somewhen. Overall we had a lovely day, only critism is that the gift shop was dearer than the one in Blackpool. We know this as we bought identical Octopuses in Blackpool so knew the price already and they were £2 dearer in Weymouth. Apart from that, brilliant day out and will visit again.

Great - I visited with a pair of 10 year olds and an 80 year old and we all loved it! Highly recommend it. One criticism would be there was very little info on the fish we saw - some signs with a picture of what was in the tank and what it is called/habitat info etc would have been good but overall amazing day out and good value. Also tasty pizzas in the cafe.

A great day out - Such a wonderful experience on one’s doorstep . My grandsons first visit and he was mesmerised. I bought an adult /toddler ticket and was excellent value for money . Luckily the weather was glorious for a mid October visit and whilst some people may feel the price is a tad high it pays to realise the cost of the staff and commitment to the protection of the sealife need our contributions.

Nice but lot of money for a winter trip. - £49 for one adult and two children might be worth it in the summer but not really Feb half term. It was fairly clean and lots of different buildings with different themes. The lady at the Rock pool bit was lovely, nice to stroke a starfish. The kids enjoyed it and I can imagine in the summer when the splash park etc are open then it’s great.

Valentines weekend - Visited 15th February on a very wet and cold day but the staff were fantastic with the talks about the wildlife they care for . The exhibits were well looked after and clean with plenty of information regarding what was in the tanks . The Cafe was lovely and the Hot Chocolate warm us up big time . As most of the exhibits are indoors it was perfect for a the wet day we experienced. This place must be even better in the summer ( isn’t everything?) as the water park and out side exhibits will be open to . My self and my mrs really enjoyed our stay there and really enjoyed talking to all the careers and all staff made us feel very welcome. Highly recommend if your in Weymouth.

A good day out - We are a couple in our 40's and had a very enjoyable day. The park is not very large but well laid out. It was clean and the the animals were very well cared for. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We also booked the behind the scenes tour. This wasn't very long but very interesting and worth doing. We then booked the penguin feeding for my wife as a birthday gift and this was amazing. She was with the penguins for over half an hour and the keeper was very friendly. For an extra £21 it was fantastic value.
