Kids will be thrilled with the opportunity to drive their own mini-snowmobiles.
Each tour includes 5 snowmobiles per guide.
Reserve your snowmobile as a solo driver or with a passenger.
- Operates in all weather conditions.
- Children must be 6 years old, over 4ft/122cm tall and fit into XXS helmet.
- Recommended to wear ski jacket and pants, plus warm boots and gloves. No mitts to drive snowmobiles.
- Family Afternoon Tour: 2.5 hours total, with approximately 1.75 hours ride time, 30 mins for mini snowmobiles
- Learner’s driving permits not accepted
- Drivers license accepted: New/novice or full unrestricted, must be physically present

Cougar Mountain Road
Follow any map app to Sixteen Mile Creek Forest Service Road, Whistler BC. Turn off the highway at our large wooden sign that says Welcome to Cougar Mountain. Please arrive 10 minutes before your scheduled tour time. Complimentary parking is available at the venue.

Fantastic Family tour the highlight of the trip to Whistler! - We had George take us on a fantastic family snowmobile tour of Cougar mountain and Rainbow Mountain. The facility for the children to drive the kids size snow mobiles made the day and put a huge smile on my son’s face. Definitely worth doing and thanks George for a great tour!

March 29, 2023 - James was the best tour guide and made us feel very confident to snowmobile for our first time! I hope he's there if we ever return! We'll definitely do this tour again!

Great snowmobiling experience - We had a great time doing the Family Snowmobile Tour. Kayla was a great guide. My kids (9 and 11) particularly loved riding the mini-snowmobiles.

A big disappointment !!!!! - We were so looking forward to this family snow mobile tour. However, when we got there we were told that they don’t hqve our reservation. Have them my booking reference number and nothing. So I called the trip adviser after we got back to the hotel and I was told the operator had canceled the tour a day before and supposedly sent out an email ( which I never received ) So we were charged $1,600 dollars dor a trip that got cancelled ??!! I was told we will get a refund but our day pretty much got wasted. We were in Whistler for 3 days and 1 day got ruined thanks to this. We find this very irresponsible from Your part ( Trip Advisor ) to charge for an expensive tour only to have it cancelled at the last minute. Who will be responsible our our time lost ???

Too expensive for such a boring ride - I don't recommend it. It was a slow, boring ride. The views are nice, but that's it. The guide only gave us the safety instructions, from then on he never addressed us. The option for the children to drive lasted only 15 minutes (there were 6 children and 2 infant snowmobilers). The tour ended with no one offering hot drinks. We just left and done. With how expensive the experience is I do NOT recommend it.

I would not recommend,... - I would not recommend, this was an out an back on an extremely bumpy road, it was not adventure at all.
