Great site especially for walkers. - Loved this site. Large pitches, immaculate facilities and great location. One of the most helpful receptions we’ve experience although I have to say they could do with being open longer as we had gone out before they open each day and were closed when we got back. 20 minute walk to Anstruther with a quaint harbour and selection of cheap and mid-range restaurants. Cellaredyke harbour closer and also pretty. 5 minutes to the sea front (steep steps) and coastal path. Buses 10 minutes walk which we used to walk back along the coast path. Lovely! Be aware if you walk back from Kingsbarn that the first couple of miles are along rocky beaches as the farmer and golf course don’t allow walkers. Very nice walk though.

Worth every penny - My husband, daughter-in-law, 4 month old grandson, and I went on this tour while in Whistler. We all found it very informative and interesting. The tour guide was named Ryan and he did a wonderful job of explaining the history of the area as well as sharing his knowledge of the Village itself. He made accommodations for the stroller along the way and was welcoming to all the people on the tour making sure to personally visit with everyone. It was a great way to start our trip to the area, so that we could better plan our itineraries for the rest of our stay. I highly recommend this tour.

A great way to start our vacation - Ryan kept the walk a family friendly pace and it was super informative. Really a wonderful way to begin our vacation and learn some good options for dining, activities, history, and more from a local with 15+ years of experience within Whistler.

Informative tour - Ryan was very knowledgeable of all aspects of the Whistler area. He showed us areas of the town that we would not have found on our own. I would recommend this tour the first day you arrive to get acquainted with the village are.

Excellent tour of Whistler info - We were suppose to take the walking tour from 11-12:30 the day after we arrived, but were contacted about either changing it to 5 p.m. the afternoon that we arrived or 9 a.m. the day after. We choose the 9 a.m. even though we had to get up a lot earlier for it. Ryan was our guide and we really enjoyed walking and talking with him. We walked all the trails surrounding the village while Ryan filled our heads with all the history of Whistler. At the end of the tour, Ryan gave us a lot of info on the best restaurants and art/culture around Whistler. We enjoyed it all.

Whistler walking tour - Ryan being willing to accomodate my limited time availability and being willing to run the trip for me on my own - many thanks We visited the whole 3 village area of Whistler with an introduction to local history both ancient and modern, ideas on activities and sites to visit, and even visiting some local art sites. Great trip - made me want to come back and spend more time than one morning in Whistler

Must thing to do for a first time visitor - Ryan’s tour gave us a total prospective on the history and development of Whistler from the very begging to a world class sky resort and a host of the Olympic Games. Thanks for your tips and free beer! And it was nice to see you at the Rainbow park, your tip as well. Next time in Whistler we will definitely plan to chill for a day in that park by the lake! See you buddy!
