The journey begins with a stop at a viewpoint overlooking Miles Canyon, a pivotal point for stampeders traveling from Alaska to the Klondike. Next, the tour proceeds along the South Klondike Highway to Emerald Lake, followed by a visit to the Carcross Desert, known as the smallest desert in the world. After a brief orientation in Carcross, there is free time to explore the artisan shops or enjoy a walk along the beach at Bennett Lake.
On the return trip to Whitehorse, there is a stop at Caribou Crossing where participants can try gold panning, and any treasures found can be kept! Additionally, there are adorable husky puppies that love attention and cuddles!
