Enjoyable glass bottom boat tour - Fantastic 2 hour tour with stunning views of the coastline in addition to various species of sea life through the glass viewing window in the bottom of the boat. Great commentary from both Mark and Amelia - only wish I’d bought my swimming gear to go snorkelling! Really enjoyed entering the cave and feeding the fish. Overall a great experience which I highly recommend.

Lovely small tour cruise to cathedral cove - Lovely tour, smaller group, we had 13 on our tour. Good boat with glass bottom where you can see fish swimming underneath. Was an overcast day and started to rain, but didn’t impact the tour as plastic side windows can be unclipped keeping us warm and dry. The landscape we cruised through was spectacular, more of a highlight than cathedral cove itself. Went past cathedral cove (didn’t stop) but did go into a cave where we fed the fish. Water was clear and vibrant blue - stunning! Snorkeling is available but you don’t have to - one person went in for a swim, but very cold and water wasn’t clear. Was a great tour, highly recommend

Quite a ride! - On what appeared to be a calm day turned out to be a fairly bumpy ride after getting out beyond the headland. But with the access path to Cathedral Cove washed away this was our chance to see the latter and much more. However the boat (the smallest in the group) was buffeted by the waves to such an extent that The skipper (Michael?) curtailed the trip by about 1/2 hr to save things getting worse. Having said that the trip was certainly exciting and memorable in many ways - saw seals and plenty of fish - and the commentary was excellent. We would recommend the trip, but hang on tight and don’t forget the sick bag - just in case! PS without hesitation Michael said that the curtailed trip would be recompensed even though the weather is out of the company’s control.

Great boat tour! - I went on this tour with my husband and 2 year old. We all loved it! Stunning scenery, wildlife (seals, fish, birds), sea caves, Cathedral Cove all presented by the knowledgeable and friendly Mark. The glass bottom was a good addition for my daughter to see the fish. Highly recommend!

Not to be missed - A must do experience when visiting beautiful Mercury Bay. Kate Baker was our skipper and she made our afternoon most enjoyable with her extensive knowledge. Lovely scenery. Make sure you rug up, it can get pretty chilly out there.
