We depart from your hotel at 08:00 a.m. to Chiang Rai Province which takes about a 3-hour drive. Firstly, we have a short break at Mae Khachan Hot Spring, surrounded by spectacular hills and, it is the shelter of the large and shady tree. Then, we continue to visit Rong Khun Temple, more well-known among foreigners as the White Temple, is a contemporary unconventional Buddhist temple in Chiang Rai Province, Thailand. It was designed by Chalermchai Kositpipat in 1997. Lunch will be provided at a local restaurant. After that, continue to Blue Temple and Black House where is the proud work of Thawan Duchanee, a Chiang Rai born Thai artist who has developed a style of work representing the darkness in humanity. With lots of red and black hues, skins, skulls and various other animal parts made into eerie artwork.

Beautiful sites - Long drive but beautiful country side and well worth it once we got there. Great tour guide with very good english and lots of knowledge of the sites.

Exploring the Temples of Chiang Rai - What a great day exploring the Temples of Chiang Rai. Noulie, our guide and Jackie our driver were wonderful. Nouie's knowledge, personality, and making sure we were having a great trip were so very welcome. I would recommend this trip for couples, small families and groups. The door to door service and comfortable ride were certainly an added perk.

Private tour blew my mind! Best tour guide - I contacted them via TripAdvisor to book a private day tour from Chiang Mai to Chiang Rai and they gave me Ms. Kanlaya who went out of her way to make sure I had the most amazing experience!
You need to request Ms. Kanlaya!! You will not be disappointed.
On my last day before my flight home, I had just enough time to see a few more sites but due to my limited time it had to be a private tour.
They showed me so many different things! Brought me to the 2 places I was dying to see and added a few more stops they thought I would like. They taught me about Thailand and introduced me to amazing foods. I was hesitant to do a private tour especially with the tight time frame but I am SO happy I did.

100% recommend this tour to anyone - WOW! I'm blown away at the quality of this tour. Our guide was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable and by far exceeded my expectations. We were shuttled around in a large van would was comfortable. Our driver was also fantastic. People in Bangkok tend to drive aggressively, but he was very patient and got us around safely. Don't hesitate to book this trip.

White, blue and black - All started smoothly with pick up from hotel, luxury van for our family only, water and all creature comforts provided. We had our own driver and guide who spoke fluent English. We stopped at hot Springs on way then at an amazing coffee shop before reaching the white temple which lived up to all expectations. After that we did blue temple, and amazing lunch at waterfall Cafe then finished with black temple. Great service and brilliant day overall, worth the cost.

Worth it for White Temple alone and the other stops are a good bonus! - Great day! The drive from chiang Mai is long but unavoidable. The guide, Nan, was awesome and flexible and informative. The hot springs stop was a quick 10 minute foot bath, and we left when it started getting crowded. The White Temple is spectacular. If at all possible, go when there are fewer people and wear sunglasses—it’s so bright to look at. Blue Temple is impressive but looked like it was being renovated. Lots of fading paint or exposed concrete. Black House was interesting but I didn’t care much for the artwork. Too many dead animals. But the architecture and wood carving was beautiful. Glad I did this day trip!

Chiang Mai temple tour & hill tribe visit - My husband and I had a great time on this tour (it also included a hill tribe visit). Noom (our tour guide) and Boo (our driver) were the best we could have asked for. We took our time, asked lots of questions, and Noom took some amazing natural pictures of us as well as being very knowledgeable. It was an early start and late finish, but they really took care of us :)

Good tour with the best guides - The temples and museum they take you to are the most touristy and beautiful but what makes it the best tour are their guides (Vu, Kobi, Ohm) who are very attentive, they answer any questions regarding the tour or related to Thai culture , his English is perfect, his attitude is super happy and he is interested in learning about other cultures.
You can definitely find other tours that offer you the same tour, but they are the best.

October 3 - We had the pleasure of having Pa as our tour guide and she was amazing!!!
We didn’t fully know what to expect but this tour was so incredible. The van ride is about 3 hours each way but on the way we stopped at the hot springs to break up the drive a little bit. Pa was awesome about taking our photos whenever we asked and recommended an amazing coconut ice cream place at the blue temple.
She was very knowledgeable on the different places we drove past and the locations we visited.
We appreciated how calm and effortless this experience was.

Plan on a very long day!!! - If I would have known the many steep winding hills would have never taken the trip. A very long day with poor driving conditions. Drivers erratic on the highway with very sharp turns on steep hills. Some of the tour and buses were the worst!! Our driver knew the road well but I held on tight in many places, thankful when it was over!!
