A driver will collect you straight from your Krakow hotel or apartment and transport you to Wieliczka. Following a brief stroll, you’ll participate in an English-led tour with the museum’s official guide. After the tour concludes, the driver will return you to your lodging. Entry tickets are encompassed in the package, eradicating the need to purchase them on your own or queue.
- Please note that to reach the first level of the mine (64 meters underground), You have to descent a wooden stairway which has 378 stairs. After the tour, You will be taken up to the surface with a lift.
- Temperature in the Salt Mine is approximately 14 degrees C (57 degrees F), please wear warm clothes and comfortable shoes.
- Please note that this tour is not available on: 25th of December, 1st of January, Easter Saturday afternoon, Easter Sunday.

Salt mine - must see experience - Definitely worth the trip. Combines history, craftsmanship and impressive engineering . 2+ hour tour, great guide. Wear comfortable shoes.

A must see tour - Decided to do this tour on our first visit to Krakow and so glad we did! An amazing tour. So so nice to see all the salt mines. Amazing how beautiful they are

Good but not great - The pick up from our apartment was on time and we made another stop to get 4 other visitors and made our way to the salt mine in about 30 minutes. The driver from mr shuttle, Rafa was excellent.
The mines are interesting but I wouldn’t bother to go again.

A very good experience - The your was good very tiring you don't get enough time when you get to the Restuarant and the gift shop to actually have a rest and sit down and have a coffee but the experience is amazing and our tour guide was exceptional and the driver to and from the Salt mines

Great when we arrived but chaotic start! - The tour itself was fantastic but we were picked up as planned, told very little that there was a problem and we would be dropped to a different car. We spent 20 minutes at a random petrol station in the total wrong direction, waiting to be swapped into another car. Very little communication, felt sketchy! I now understand what was happening but communication was poor. It was a one off and would recommend, I just hope they take from this to communicate what it happening, rather than drive 2 guests 30 minutes in the wrong direction!

Do not book if Mr. Shuttle is the service provider. - The operating company Mr. Shuttle was pathetic and provided poor. They provided no confirmation of the pick-up and drop-off time. After contacting them, they said we would receive this information later in the day. After contacting them repeatedly within 12 hours of the tour, they would not provide any driver or auto information. We waited outside our hotel for 15 min. Arriving 5 min. before the scheduled pick-up time and as instructed were OUTSIDE. We received a call from a driver, he had been waiting in the lobby. He provided no identification and drove us to another area of town. After he called someone?, he told us to walk to some vans 1 block from us to board. After the tour of the Salt mines, we boarded the van, and the driver dumped us off at a random spot, pointed and said to walk. We told him we booked the hotel drop-off, and he said he could do nothing for us - to get off, walk, and contact the company. We were not prepared with a map, and wandered around the area until we recognized something familiar and made it back to our hotel. We booked and paid for hotel pick-up and drop-off. We contacted Mr. Shuttle, and they did not respond. As a side note, the tour of the Salt Mines was interesting and informative. However, this was peak tourist season, and the groups were large. It was very rushed and crowded, so there was not much time to appreciate the sites in the mine.
