The highlight of the tour is the Chapel of St. Kinga, a breathtaking space where everything from the walls to the chandeliers is crafted from salt. “Wow! - An excellent experience with a couple of ‘Wow’ moments. Met at the entrance by our English speaking guide Nicholas who was in charge of our group of around 35. Proceeded down the steps, 380 of them but fairly easy even for elderly people if you are able to walk OK. Lots of information coming from Nicholas along the way, explains the history etc. keep close to your guide otherwise you may miss some information. Having done no research I was astonished at the sight of the cathedral and could easily have stayed longer in the quiet gallery. Passing through the various chambers we were given sufficient time to take photos but bear in mind that there are other groups on your trail too so you do need to keep up. An excellent tour that I would probably do again if I am back there.” - Reviewed on 2024-12-04
